I never see chain letters anymore. Do they still exist on social media? They died out for a while and then flourished again when email became commonplace. The classic ones promising good or bad luck were quickly squashed. People sent them to their entire address book and someone (like me) complained. These were later replaced with more sophisticated versions: they contained inspirational messages, ending with guilt trips claiming that if you truly cared about your friends, you would forward it to them. I complained about those too. Those were replaced with fake virus warnings and conspiracy theories. It’s ironic that in the social media age, conspiracy theories and fake warnings seem to outnumber legitimate information!

Nah on tumblr every second post it says if you don't reblog blah blah blah. I never reblog cause it's stupid honestly I think it's a douchey move to even put that in there trying to get scared people to give you engagement, it's pathetic. But I've never even recieved one of those letters.
I have a very sensitive relative who gets their feelings hurt extremely easily and often forwards me those guilt tripping chain letters (i. e. "Send this to the people you cherish in life, and if I don't receive it from you, I guess I'm not one of them"). To avoid any conflict, I just forward it back to that one person to humor them. Otherwise, I ignore chain letters and if someone is a frequent sender, I turn off notifications for their messages.
I used to when I was younger.
But honestly? I think it's dump to believe in such things.
Especially when they promise you things like money or the love of your life. Yeah, right. Someone's gonna knock on your door and say "Hey, you forwarded our chain letter, here are 5000$"...
And the empty threats of bad luck and someone having an accident or I don't know what else... I don't believe in those either.

Nope! nothing bad comes from not sharing a chain letter but you'll have to share this piece of info to like 10 people if you want goodluck forever and ever 😂😂. I think this was sort of like a meme back in the days of emails and letters but aside from the quirky writing and occasional fun, I'm sure you can just delete them without any consequences :).
There's a lot of them on Facebook.
Normally say something like 'Send this to all of the people you love including the one that sent it to you'
So I just send it to the person who sent it to me and that's all.
That way the person who sent it to me believes I have done what was requestedNo. That's witchcraft and anybody who's caught doing it or spamming should be removed from the site, account be deleted and or banned if its a continued offense. Period. It's not just harassment, it opens doors.
If it's a nice & helpful prayer that I agree must be shared, I won't hesitate sharing it. But, not after I removed/excluded those words/lines that imply bad luck for breaking the chain.
no I don't believethat. it just plays on guilt. You can just pray or actually do something positive and that works, set your believe there. that gets into religion, but you can see the freedom from the above lie, which is manipulation.
Not in a long time.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/uttV1VZUgQQNope don't deal with chain letters , i believe that is opening
your Soul to the devil and evil. Maybe i am wrong?I have not, and God never said anything about there being such thing as "luck", those kinds of letters are not any different than ads in my eyes.
The only forward chain i LOVED was the mario brothers one lmao
Haven't seen it in 13 years unfortunatelynah... chain letters went straight in the recycling just as modern emails go straight into spam
I do only if they are hand written and mailed to my home address.
Because that makes them realI've had a prayer chain letter a couple of times but I can't remember what was in it
I did once when I was about, hmm... 14 years old? I love the ones that say "someone you know will die if you don't forward this... and send $10 to all the names on the list" LOL
every single one. but I always include a nude to help brighten the next person's day a little bit more. :)
No and no I dont believe in good or bad luck I believe in god and I believe that everything in my life has be preordained or predestined its all gods will
Yes I've forwarded, no there's no bad luck associated with that shit the only coincidence is in your head, the mind is very interesting, you can mind Fuck yourself all you want item of because of superstition.
I’ve received one and I didn’t pass it and nothing happened.
I did when I was at school when I was 7 or so. But then it was actual letters
No, because nothing will happen when you forward them.
I got scared with them when I was 10 years old using MSN, specially ones that said that all my family would die, however I would quickly learn they weren't real and learn to ignore them.
