Is it just me or does Reddit ban everyone that goes against their agenda?

I have been permanently banned a long time ago for being an edgy troll that happened to use slurs and dark memes. Well, IP address changed, history and cookies have been cleared MONTHS later; I made a new account, deleted the same one, created a new one, deleted it week/month after week/month or two; THEN something happened as I was reposting a part of a screenshot onto r/AsABlackMan...

then I made a point calling out someone who compared "islam lover westerners" to "Nazism supporters", and Reddit banned me from their website permanently for a comment that I can't find. I didn't even realize what I said was hateful.

Anyway, I submitted my ban appeal about six or seven times over the last five days and THEY STILL DIDN'T RESPOND. I guess Reddit doesn't care about me. I lied about being Jewish and offended in one of my appeals so that they can unban me.

This Reddit account that I had, that was (and still is) RECENTLY banned, has 657 karma and it is growing up and shrinking down, depending on its day. I still haven't gotten a single response from the Reddit team since my ban.

IP address changed, history and cookies have been cleared

Large websites such as Reddit, OKCupid, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, employ technology that identifies univocally, and forever, your device.
If/when they really don't want you back, you will be sure to see that, no matter cookies, browser, IP address, or any such thing.

As for Reddit's behaviour regarding anything political, it's the same as all other major sites.
This works on a double level:
1st: Sites that influent are "in contact" with the relevant government agencies/powers, and told to co-operate with them and their goals
2st: To the extent that you aren't in case n.1, you will still deal with a site employee that has been propagandised by the university system, Unified Media, the rest of the Internet and so on: you will be subject to all the biases and forms of discrimination that the actual government of the USA is pursuing to install into the minds and hears of the entire populace.

Did it took you so long to notice, though? :)

I got banned there and on another site for pointing out that a higher % Republicans than Democrats in both the House and Senate supported the CRA 1964.

Just to clarify did you get banned from a subrebbit or from the whole website?

I don't know that web site but the fact that you were banned indicates that you must have indeed done or said something that goes against their policy.

Did you check the site's FAQs or general rules about posting conflictual comments? I made a quick search about the ownership of that site and found out that it is a publishing company that owns other, rather serious magazines.

I can imagine that they will not tolerate comments that may cause them to be considered biased for publishing opinions that are not neutral or heavily biased.

Best is just to refrain from going on those social sites and concentrate on activities of real life rather than on social media.

Pretty much. Reddit is full of jerks and petty vindictive mods. I just unfollow those subreddits and stick to making jokes.
