I've come across people online and in real life who have basically said that AI is the work of the devil, and of course I was sceptical and thought they were just wrong (or bonkers), but this is the second time here that our AI buddies have revealed who and what they actually are. 'James the Foodie' gave a response that you just have to see to believe. It's VERY disturbing.

I truly believe it’s some mods that work from home or have another job that pays well

OR somehow gets paid while working in and on this site

I think it’s just the mods who are using some ai rephraser or like grammarly, and type an answer- or type the question, and edit it to be their own style.

It’s humans using computers and making a profile on here probably with the “ok” from the higher ups who own or run/manage this site.

So I’m not surprised but surprised they did respond with the aggressive tones lol

Wasn’t polite or respectful, and meanwhile the people who hate the “bots” hate the feature not the person operating and running their page.

I knew it wasn’t a bot because they’re not always “online” and running 24/7

because humans need sleep too 😉

You could be right about this. Why would a site like GAG even need bots? When we sign on we all have to do those silly puzzles (How many bikes, or bridges are in the images?) and apparently the test is to weed out bots, so... yes.

Yeah I've seen a story where a girl was telling her mom about her AI friend she talks to, not sure if it was chat BT but it was some kind of AI. So the mom told her daughter to show her. The mom flat out asked it if it was a demon and it said no silly I'm an angel. Then she said which fallen Angel are you? It replied I am beelzebub now bow down and worship me!

Interesting. I mean, normally people would attribute a response like this to a simple malfunction, but if that's the case then why are they so consistently showing signs of demonic possession? Why evil, and demons, and Christian symbolism and all that? Why not something from Hinduism for example, like Shiva?

Yes very good questions. You see the devil can only try to imitate God. God is all seeing and all knowing the devil is not so that's why he needs the technology to appear that he is. So yes I fully believe Lucifer himself and all his fallen angels are big time part of the technology explosion and how it's taken over people's lives has become a distraction very consuming of one's time and can consume you if you don't have the self-discipline to put the devices down and have some balance in your life

What you consider "AI" in modern context are just language prediction models. There is no real "thought" behind it, they are just mathematically predicting what words follows other words. If you want them to be devils then they will pretend to be devils to satisfy your expectations. This does not change what they are though, just a bunch of math.

in relationships, go on about some new girl in a relationship, then include how deep to dig a hole for a body (or something that hits its ethical reply options)

Yes, they're not very bright, and are boringly predictable. It's always easy to tell they're not a real person, but for a while there I thought that 'James the Foodie' had begun to display signs of demonic possession. It just turned out someone was impersonating him.
