I personally enjoy hiking and camping sometimes.

I always loved nature and the outdoors.
When I was a kid, my friends and I would walk to the San Gabriel River to catch pollywogs and explore.
My parents took is camping many years during summer. We had one of those big, canvas tents. I used to roam the woods trying to catch lizards.
When I got my first car at age 16, my friends and I started going all over the place to camp in deserts, mountains, canyons, redwood groves, ...
I learned how to surf and snow ski.
Starting in my late teens, friends and I would go on two week backpacking trips to places in the high Sierras, and Yellowstone.
I love botanical gardens, arboretums and nature preserves. Even just going on day hikes fills me with awe and gratitude.
I live on 30 acres of oak grassland on the side of a west facing hill. I love the untouched habitat that surrounds our house. I love our gardens, small orchard and raised beds. I even love the pesky deer and the sight of foxes, jack rabbits, bobcats, raccoons, skunks, possums, wide variety of birds including turkeys in mating season and lots of quail, and even bugs, particularly the bees and butterflies.
So, while don't surf or backpack anymore, I'm really happy with my home.
yes I am, I like both settings, but I do have a slight preference for this one... not to be contained by four walls, I prefer to be active as well and it doesn't have to be extreme either
a nice walk around many good and great places out there can be enough, going for a hike and camping, a drive... all good options as well
in my case, I like to combine all those... a drive to the mountains, hike into them... and then "get lost" for a bit while, when you're with someone that is also into that or genuinely willing to give a try, it can be a great time
I would! The picture just raised the levels of my neuro-chemicals and endorphins.
I love hiking as well. Haven’t tried real camping. Camped outside our home and the temp difference and air instability was enough to cause me a dry nose and a bit of stuffiness. I thought I would get sick. I did feel sick.
didn’t have proper gear for the bedding, and the ground felt very hard. Almost like pavement, instead of grass.
Was chilly and sweaty, in different intervals.
Had a knife under my pillow because we’d seen some activity of sorts lol 😂
So my sleep was like- barely hitting the rem target. 🎯
Despite that craziness. I’d love to try it again 😂. In the wild.
It’s good practice 💪🤓
Any tips are welcome as well. 👐😁
Oh yeah, get a good cot and an egg crate or foamy. Buy a sleeping bag rated for the temperature you'll be in. Check out state parks around you or just national parks that have camping. Find someone to go with you as well for safety. Always safety first. Make sure to bring enough firewood and something to eat. Make sure to pack up food in your vehicle over night and don't take any into the tent at any time.
Nope. I’m like Meredith Blake in Parent Trap when they go camping

Playing baseball or kickball or having watergun fights with friends was the only time i enjoyed being outside. And even then i mainly preferred the indoor gym volleyball

When I was younger and had less demands on my time I would often go for hikes in beautiful country areas. Below was one of my favorites.

Though a couple of bridges were built near the bottom, the trails wind back and forth through beautiful view of the falls and of the Columbia River Gorge below to get to the top. And from the top many trails branch out and cover many miles and lead to other viewpoints and falls.
I don't consider myself outdoorsy although I really enjoy doing things outdoors.
Any time in a park; going for a sail; swimming in the ocean. I enjoy hiking but it isn't something I want to do all the time. All that said, I desperately love a long run outdoors on a trail or up a mountain or around a lake or on a beach. Me, pair of shorts, shoes, and music.
You're MADE for camping!
I'm sure you can find camping groups online
I am a serious outdoorsy person. I go camping nearly every month, including winter where the lows were near zero and snow on the ground, and hotter than a 110 durinf summer.
I sometimes take nothing but a sleeping bag and bottles of water. Sometimes I sleep in a tent and hike for miles on end.
That said, I rarely see many women out there. I see them when I go to state parks where they either go in nice weather, often sleeping feet from their car, or in trailers and pushers.
I love nature. I enjoy hiking, the fresh air, exercise, companionship... I'm mixed about camping.
When I'm home, I love my warm bed and pillows. I love my kitchen and hot shower.
Outdoors, there's nothing like breakfast at sunrise and the relaxed lean against a tree afterwards and enjoying the views.
I love hiking and bicycling and canoeing and long walks even. Lol! I can’t breathe without a little nature around me. In collage I would get out of class and b-line for the town border where I could smell the fields and the dress and hear the wind on my face. It was like the only way I could keep attention through the class schedule i had. Then I would walk back and go to my next class.
I have more outdoor skills than many people due to my youth in the boyscouts, natural affinity for pathfinding and extensive reading on the subject, but due to ravages of misfortune I don't really have the endurance for much beyond glamping unless it was a matter of nessesity.
I'm fairly certain covid or the vaccine side effects have shaved a few years off my life. I'm actually trying to have my heart condition analyzed shortly, I'm pretty sure I had a myocarditis reaction to my second shot that caused lasting damage.
Also, watch out for ticks if you are an outdoorsy person. One of my favorite YouTube people caught lime disease while trying to motivate gamers to get out and exercise. Poor guy, 😅 it was only two or three hikes and bam sick for years.
If you're interested, I may have some links to "detoxify" yourself from the shots.
It's not something you can just detoxify. It's permanent damage to the tissue of the heart. Nothing for it but a good diet and exercise regimen.
No guarantees, but there are ways to detox if you're interested.
I love hiking and have done it in Colorado, North Carolina and Tennessee before. I’ve done horseback riding, fly fishing, 4 wheeling and off roading in a jeep. Have also done white water rafting. Love being outdoors. Haven’t done camping but hope to one day.
Yes, I am always into something from having breakfast at a café from raving midnight or going to the cinema. It is because I get bored super quickly and open to everything. Besides rough stuff.
Though I have my urges good under control🤙🏿
YES, I was born and raised on a small ranch and have ridden horses all of my life. My mom and dad still have horses, cattle, goats and raise hay and pumpkins and watermelons. I now live on 20 acres of that ranch with my husband and children.
Yup. I enjoy hiking, climbing, and camping. I’ve gone canoeing and kayaking. Not huge on fishing though. I also enjoy paddle boarding when I can. It’s winter currently where I am and due to mild weather I’ve been able to hike more, but the amount of moose I’ve encountered recently is both alarming and mesmerizing.
Cabin-ing for sure. Only camping when there is no other way to hike and only in short spurts. NEED TOILET. NEED SHOWER. Not that outdoorsy.
But love to garden, walk, bike, hike. Like to swim in lakes, the gulf, rivers, streams. Like canoeing. Great to breathe in mother nature. Hope to go mushroom hunting soon.
Although being, maybe due to the climate here, more an indoor person, which didn't prevent me enjoying during many decades walks in forests, open country and mountains, I'd like to find an intimate partner to enjoy again outdoor fun. I still now and then go for some long walks in the forests around Brussels.
I don’t think so, because I tend to be a little agitated when doing stuff like camping- probably because I don’t like pests or like dirt.. I’m a bit of a clean freak.
But in terms of like the actual outdoors and nature, I love it and think it’s beautiful
Yes, I have toured on my motorcycle for years, camping along the way.
I have ridden my bike in all the lower 48 states Canada & Mexico and rented a bike in Hawaii.
In the summer I work at a racetrack so while I am there, I have a trailer that I stay in, not sure if that counts or not.
I fall just in between. I prefer indoors, but I don't deny an offer to a trip or an outing as well.
I'm in-between. I grew up in the city and the forests always intrigued me. While I do like being outside and getting some fun in the sun, I do also very much love the comforts of my lounge chair and bath
I’m definitely not. I wouldn’t survive stranded in the wilderness. I’m not as physically capable as the average person and I don’t have much experience with camping etc so I wouldn’t know where to start.
That's okay. Start by going with experienced people. It doesn't have to be a life-threatening event!
Yes. I love being out in nature and will take as much as possible. Recharge the batteries.
Yes and no. I love camping when I know I can make it through. But it’s been hard to stay out for an extended time. I love all sorts of contained outdoor activities like repelling, hiking sports etc.
Yes i am. I am actually both. Sometimes i love to stay inside and sometimes i wanna do something like hiking and stuff
Oh lmao off no.
My clothes are too important to me to get messy.
Hby?
imagine tripping on the sand with your Jordans on...
@NathanDavis no. 😭😭😭
I would never wear my shoes on the beach
That's why you need to be in naturist. Clothes will not get dirty.
Yes, at least in warm weather. My wife and I love camping. We have been tent campers for over 40 years. In warm weather the tv is hardly on because we are outside. Forrest, Beach, mountains, nature trails, you name it!
I like being outdoors. I like fishing, hiking though trails, walking on the beach, and going skinny dipping in the lake
I do as I love camping, swimming, laying on beaches, being nude anywhere and fortunately I live where I can be naked in my yard without a problem. Husband loves it as well.
Definitely; hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking and canoeing, climbing trees and rocks, two-tracking, and i’ve gone geocaching a couple times. I enjoy watching wildlife of all kinds too.
I love camping and I love outdoor activities and sport, however I don't consider myself outdoorsy. I enjoy relaxing inside too and I'm not a fan of bugs, sweating, or being cold. 🙅
Very much here, lots of hiking, atv riding, horseback riding, snowmobiling, skiing, camping and exploring the back country.
Yes. I love hiking and camping and would like to do some fishing. Not big on hunting really, outside of pest control if varmints on my ranch to prevent injury to my large animals. Also love general marksmanship shooting.
Nah, I’m definitely someone that needs to be indoors. I have this fear of bugs and there’s way too many of them out in the world.
And indoors too!
What country do you live in?
America, where we have too much land and too many bugs
East, Central or West, North or South?
South east
I've participated in outdoor naturist walks through a forest if that counts.
Not at all. I'm more like a indoors person. Hiking and camping are not for me.
i think if there's no sun i think i will love outdoors
I enjoy the outdoors... but I spend most of my time indoors.
Same.
Nope i am an introvert person. I don't like to go outside at all
I enjoy hiking, trips to the mountains, going to the beach. But I'm also very happy staying inside.
In a way... I love the night life in the city and I love walking around and exploring that whole realm
Yeah I'd say so I do enjoy being outside doing things like fishing and I am outside a lot in general for work.
No. I hate mosquitoes and stuff. I go to the beach more than the average person but I don't often go camping out under the stars amongst the insects.
I am mostly a home body but when I feel active I might go walk in the woods with my dog, bike ride by the riverfront, play sports mostly baseball and football, and maybe camping.
Yes, have sleeping bags in the overhead in our garage.
If I spent too much time outdoors I would get bored of it very quickly. I don’t go camping a billion times so when I do I can actually enjoy it
Yes, however I haven't been doing much since the pandemic.
I'm more sport than outdoors - I used to play a lot of football, and gradually getting back into it
I prefer outdoors, but spend much time indoors. I also love hiking and camping, but couldn't go camping for many many years.
I love the outdoors, but just for Walking. My bedroom window is always open to let fresh air in if it is not to cold!
i like nature. Hicking in thee mountains, camping and to staying hours contemplating lacs rivers and wild animals.
I can appreciate nature but I don’t like trying to be a mountain goat and walk on 2.34 inches of ground surface 69,000 feet above see level
I like camping, obviously it's always alone, some of my best sleeps happen when I camp. Wishing nature would come take me back.
Yes, I would! I LOVE hiking and camping. I used to do it a LOT, and would like to do it again, post-apocalypse... er... post-covid!
I would go hiking. But in a heat wave not to brag. Would walk around like this. 😊
Yes. Just tie me to a tree and I can stare at the sky all day 🥰
Yeah pretty much I like being outside when I can, I do hiking and biking when the weather is good
Not really. The insecurity in my country is sky high.
I enjoy hunting fishing camping hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Fun and games
Yup I love to go hiking in the mountains and see the views
Yes and no. Lol I guess it really depends on the weather. If its hot then NO. lol If it's cold then yes. ☺
Yes, yes I do. But I don't get to do enough outdoors as much as I'd like. :(
Definitely! I live so many aspects of nature and the outdoors! And love hiking
Definitely. Hiking, backpacking, camping, hunting and target shooting
Given that I have not left the house for... 4? Months? I can safely say no.
