Do they give free slippers/pen and notebook in hotel in the US?

I went to Hongkong and it says its 4 star hotel there. The notebook and pen is free, free slippers for each person who checked in, free soaps and shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste , free tea and coffee and sugar inside the drawer. Sometimes when we used it all they would put new coffee and sugar and tea again. And then they have free use of cellphone on the table. Like its android but we are not allowed to bring it home just use there while staying at hotel. Do they have it in US as well?

Yup, but the slippers are usually disposable.

The answers here are interesting. When I was at a hotel with my mom she was looking at me weird when I complained the hotel didn’t have slippers. Some of the answers here say so as well. I haven’t lived in the states in a bit though, now it seems hit or miss.

i've gotten some beautiful things at hotels here, a French press, umbrellas, pillows, a hot water bottle cover at one place, there's one that gives you a set of bloody Mary glasses, everyone is trying to outdo each other. be careful though in some cases they want you to buy them, but most times they're gifts

Most hotels don't have free slippers and all the phones are landlines.

They gave us free slippers in Hongkong. Its like a disposable cloth like slippers. Maybe its a 4 star hotel thats why.

I have stayed at 4* hotels in the US. Though not in touristy cities.

Lol the hotel we stayed at is 20 mins away from Disneyland. Plus its Hong Kong city so maybe its makes sense. The buffet breakfast is free but lunch and dinner is not.

Only expensive motels do that here , cheaper ones give you a pen
