Knifes all violence to humans and animals needs to stop
More knife murders black on black in london again this week not the police to blame its all to do with drugs and money not enough police to cover the whole of london when will it stop?

Simple: Allow law abiding people to carry guns.
then the death toll rises from 61 stab deaths a year to 6500 deaths from guns... given that UK has 65 mil and USA has 300 mil with 30,000 gun deaths per year about. Adjusted for population thats 6500 guns deaths due to firearms in the UK vs the mere 61 deaths due to knives...

Half the violence and more than half of the property crimes in the US is from 12% of the population.
The question perhaps should be how the US would have developed if a black man, Anthony Johnson, had not enslaved another black man to become the first slave owner in the colonies.

@juliaanita And what about school shootings? Those can be solved easily. Either arm qualified teachers, or put more cops in schools. Remember that school shooter in Maryland? You know how he was stopped? By a gun. The P. E. teacher at that school saved dozens of lives because he was armed and prepared to defend both himself and his students. But you never hear about that because it doesn't push the agenda to ban guns like the stories where dozens of minors die.

And what is this "what about" argument you use? People still died. kids died. church goers died. innocent concert goers died. Soldiers died, men, women, children, mothers, fathers, babies. All dead.
The most salient word is dead. But the next most important word is guns. The common element in all of the mass shootings is... gun.
Listen, i don't want to ban guns. My dad and my cousins hunt.
But don't make the patently false argument that more guns=more safety. The history of firearms in American proves this false beyond doubt.
And every other civilized country in the world shake their collective heads in disbelief when it is made.

No one at the concert in Las Vegas was allowed to have guns, and the security staff did not have the kind of guns needed for that kind of attack.
Only one good guy at Parkland High school, Florida was allowed to have a gun, but he refused to engage.
No one inside the church in Sutherland Springs, Texas had a gun, but a nearby resident did, and he caused the killer to run off.
When Moslem terrorists attempted to massacre people attending an art show in Garland, Texas in 2015, two or three armed good guys shot and killed the terrorists when they began their attack, resulting in no innocent death.
Just in the last couple of days in Dallas, Texas a criminal tried to steal a car from a woman and kidnap her children. She pulled out her gun and shot the kidnapper, ending his crime.

No, they did not. Absurdly, service personnel were not allowed to have guns with them on base unless they were Military Police (MPs), which no one at the facility targeted was.

I had a friend who was murdered because a good man did not own a gun.
A criminal had threatened the man and said he was going to kill him. Good to his word, he went to his home, banged on the door shouting he was going to kill him, broke through, then did what he said. The man had the tactical advantage to shoot at the criminal as he came through the door, but because he did not own a gun, he tried to defend himself with a cell phone. It didn't work and he was murdered.
Then the criminal shot and killed my friend who had no connection to either the good man or the criminal. Ironically, the friend had a gun available, but no warning or even a hint of the imminent threat.
If more good people had guns and the willingness to defend themselves, there would be fewer innocent deaths.
