YouTuber Eugenia Cooney has been getting a lot of backlash recently for ignoring critics of her body. She will not speak out on her condition and many believe that she is anorexic. Many are worried about her because she lost a ton of weight in a short period of time. She was always thin but it has begun to get worse and worse. They warning her that she could die at any time if she ignores her condition. Im asking this because many people are saying that she's fine, and that she doesn't need help. I am also very worried for this girl, and I hope she can help herself soon. What do you think?

The five peoole who voted that she is fine is why many girls strive to be so thin that it affects their health. If she were fat peoole would be quick to say that she wasn't healthy.
To tell you the truth that is her personal business, and she should not have to show off her body like that for people to judge and criticize what she is doing. Overall I am very certain she knows what she is doing. I in a way look like her, but she may have problems gaining weight, has anybody not think that could be the case. Just shoving down any kind of food down her throat is not going to help her at all. Diet and Nutrition besides genetics plays a role. She has a small frame. She doesn't need to get fat. Just to have enough weight to keep her healthy. People think they everything about somebodies body and they don't know jack.
Yes it unhealthy. But she looks like she could other health problems that can contribute to unintentional weight loss such as cancer, hyperthyroidism, Malnutrition is a major one, HIV/AIDS or other STDs that can do this, hookworm infections [remember people uncooked meats or poultry can carry and develop into WORMS IN YOUR BODY! They are parasites that eat your food and nutrients!
Other diseases such as Diabetes, Under-active Pituitary Glands, etc! Mental problems such as depression or bipolar disorder can be a problem too. But do anybody bother to do research? NOPE! Lets just throw anorexia out there and tell her to get help. For her to take these pictures no matter WHO posts them, and she allows it to get posted signifies that she know exactly what she's doing. It could be done for attention, because she does have a psychological disorder and the pictures and videos are done to message people because somewhere deep inside is the real person, or she just wants to die intentionally. Nobody knows this but her. At the end of the day, she does look extremely sick, but I can't say anything. We cannot tell her what to do if she doesn't want to do it. It will be a learning lesson to others who wants to go the route she's going.
@YourFutureEx But that depends on the level of knowing. On a spiritual and psychological stand point there is a lot of factors where we don't even know if that is the person we are speaking to. Especially when it comes to sociopathic criminals. There has to be some sort of drive that basically just 'forces their hand' kind of situation. Once you learn more about the mind of a person and get a deeper understanding of it, it will make a whole lot of sense. But at the end of the day, its left up to them if they want to be saved and changed.
But 9/10x yes, they often do know what they are doing.
They have to desire to kill, steal, rape, etc based on their motivation: anger, jealousy, hatred, envy, all the things that is considered 'sin' has to be in you to do to commit theses crimes.
Some people have more jealousy, anger and or rage than other people. And then you have those who just don't, but has to be provoked to those emotions. But it is our job to control it and to keep it under control. To discipline and chaste ourselves, to learn to heed to the rules, OBEY them and to accept correction when given.
However the key is knowing where do tees emotions and intentions stem from. Get to the root of the problem, pluck it out, heal and correct it, then we will less likely to have these problems.
And who are YOU to JUDGE based on merits that aren't proven or warranted? What proof or facts do you have to offer to prove she is mentally ill? You don't know what that person is going through. If she was personally mentally ill she would have been locked up at the psyche ward. Don't be stupid, man. Do your research instead of being ignorant and quick to judge. Everybody do not suffer the same problem regarding this issue.
I can certainly see why people are concerned. However, the only person who knows her health is Eugenia herself. I personally have watched her videos and I find her to be an incredibly sweet, down-to-earth person and her mom is super sweet! They're videos are fun and it sounds like they have a really good relationship.
Whatever personal issues Eugenia may be going through aren't really our business. I know she is somewhat of a public figure on her videos. But calling her disgusting or making fun of her isn't really going to help her situation. I hope she gets the helps he needs, if she even has anything wrong with her. We honestly do not know as we are not her doctor.
I understand people's concern. But at the same time I do not think that making videos about "Eugenia will die soon" or "Eugenia Eating Disorder truth!" is really helping either. There seems to be one youtuber in particular who keeps posting on Eugenia's appearance. I get that it's kind of nice for people to be concerned. But if she truly has issues I don't think pointing them out is going to help her. She may very well just start feeling more insecure.
No, she isn't healthy. It isn't about how she looks- the guys seem to think so. The fact is that we use fat for energy stores. We all need body fat. She has so little that her body had eaten away at her muscle, and probably her bones. Eventually she will suffer heart failure.
While it's possible she has a disease causing her to be this thin, even in that case, the fact remains that extremely low body fat can kill you and will eventually if you never do anything to reverse the damage. If she is starving herself, she's missing out on nutrients and vitamins.
So no. But also, I would imagine you'd be very offended, like most people esp women, if someone posted a picture of a morbidly obese woman and said "is she healthy?" Why is it ok to do this but not that?
I wouldn't be offended. Not anymore. I'm asking because I'm very worried for her and I don't want her to die. I watch her on YouTube and I enjoy her videos and I would be quite sad if she got very sick.
Also most people don't post fat people out of concern for them, they post them to make fun of them and to bully them. I'm not bullying her I am concerned for her and it would be the same concern if she was fat but I couldn't say the same for everyone. Only myself.

She may survive 'easily' so, I don't think she's in a serious condition. But is she unhealthy? Obviously. No two ways about it. She's more unhealthy mentally than physically. Such people are always worried and they 'think' that they're still fat. Consequently, worsening their condition.

I think she might be doing that intentionally. Controversy gets you more attention. The more attention she gets they more views she'll receive and hence, more money. She's selling her health. Sucks to be her.
Yeah she looks very unhealthy. I didn't use to have sympathy for people with eating disorders or body dysmorphia until I met someone I respect shared their story with me. She needs to grab control of her mental illness before it gets even worst.

I have heard about her. What I found is that she isn't anorexic. She has a condition that makes her that skinny. I don't know what it's called though. Plus if she was anorexic, her hair assuming it's real wouldn't look that amazing and her face would be a lot tighter.
She is anorexic. Her followers keep saying she is healthy but that doesn't look healthy at all. I follow her as well on YouTube and you can see it's hard for her to actually move her arms and her walking. She has no fat for the bones to move smoothly so it's painful for her to move. She has no muscle mass at all she could die at any moment. Her heart will eventually stop from her starving herself. This is why women and teenagers need to understand it's ok to be healthy you don't need to be skinny. Be healthy and live yourself.
If she doesn't want to share if she has a condition or not then she doesn't have to. For all they know she could be working on it. She probably is sick and it's sad how everyone is saying she's disgusting.
Just as with overweight, you can have the best habits in the world, but your body is working that much extra harder to perform even basic functions. She looks like it's bordering dangerously thin. Your body needs certain amount of body fat, I wonder if she even still menstruates?
I don't know, i don't know her. She looks really thin, but how do i know if it's because she doesn't eat or if she's got a condition etc? She could be healthy but have some kind of muscle condition thing. She looks ill, but i don't have the facts to judge her.
she really needs help!! what annoys me is when i've commented on one on her videos tellling her that she really needs help (not in a rude way or whatsoever).. I've got insulted by a bunch of comments >:( she prefers to go hauls video much more lately rather than tryna find a way to overcome her condition

I've been following Eugenia for a few years and she used to follow me and we talked a bit on YouNow a couple years back, and honestly, I've always thought she looked sickly. Back when I first met her, I was supportive and tried to discourage comments about her, but he weight has gone down tremendously. There's no doubt that she could die soon. Her mother is extremely obese, so i do think her seeing her mother could have affected her because she wants to avoid looking like her mother at all costs. Also, she has an obsession with Jack Skelington so she may want to look like a skeleton because she thinks it's cool. It's definitely not a physical disorder but rather a mental disease. I hope she starts recovering from her Anorexia Nervosa soon!

I've seen Holocaust survivors with more meat on their bones than her.
Yikes. Based on her legs in most of the pics, her muscle:body fat percentage looks way too low to be healthy. Next to none in terms of both. I'm not really sure what her body's running off of, to be perfectly honest.

Im not sure, but i do know that she's extremely thin, she'll need to becareful not to damage her body from whatever she's doing. In the long run thought i just dont care about her enough to actually say anthing more, if she's doing this to herself. that means shs has a bad problem. that she needs to fix
