Foreign nationals were told to head for the border with Romania where their respective embassies are ready to evacuate them, they didn't listen and decided to head for border with Poland where they will not be accepted in.

Ukrainian men can't leave the country because of state of emergency, only the women and children and old people.

I can only speak for me and for mine. My folks have not experienced any racism. My friend and her family got out of Ukraine two days ago. They are now in Berlin. She is married to an African immigrant, has five children and a grandchild.

The other family is stuck in Kharkiv. But only because their second oldest son is 18. My friend will not leave her son behind and her husband is staying too. So they will fight on. All of her sons are mixed African/Ukrainian.

There is no segregation on borders. My country let 600 000 refugees, almost half of them are not Ukrainian, they are mostly Africans and former Soviet republics. Border guards actually said there were situation when men (because Ukrainians are only women and children - Ukrianian men cannot leave the country, so all the men on borders are from everywhere BUT Ukraine) were pushing mother with children away to cross the border first. Some of them are students. If you are African/Indian/central Asian and you want to study in Europe then it's really hard to study in UK/France/Germany etc. You have to either be rich or have a famnily in these countries. The rest has to go to "second sort" which are mostly post-Soviet republics. Just Kharkiv has like a dozen of universities. Add other cities like Kiev, Lviv, Dniepr, Odessa, Dniepr, Zaporozhe.
