October 4th, World Animal Day! What to do for the Animals in Need?

Least we can do is to not harm them but unfortuneately us as humans have done it many times both directly or indirectly.
We should open more shelters in countries with stray animal issues and the shelters must be controlled and cruelty free. The animals should be taken care of in every aspect. Whether it be attention, quality food, socializing with other animals and hygiene. Therefore their behaviour will also be bettered and more people will be willing to adopt from shelters.
When giving them for adoption, the process shouldn’t be too easy. The shelter must make sure that the pet’s new family is a good choice.

Just be kind to them. Canadian geese are so territorial so whenever I see them, I give them space and not look at them in the eye. 🤣. Those things will attack you. But I say hi to squirrels and chipmunks whenever I come across them. Even the pigeons at the parking lot eating McDonald’s. I tell them to go fly somewhere there’s fish and beaches and not eat junk food.

I rescued a spider yesterday. Yes, I rescue spiders in my house and let them go on their way. The one yesterday was in the washing machine and I wanted to do laundry. The washing machine and bathtub are where I usually find them. They get stuck and can't get out. It took a while but I managed to get the one in the washing machine out.

If you have the resources to do so you could donate to your local shelter. I recommend contacting them to see what sort of items they will accept and what they might need. Towels are often in need as bedding for the beasties, but quite often food will be refused so best to talk to them.
Adopting is also nice.

i don't really have the money to help but me and my sister but it's usually my sister we brinh hime stray kittens hime


i rarely brinh hone but when i look at the eyes of the kittens my sister brinh my heart melts and so eventually i just agree.


i'm the only person who look after the cleaning though so yeah i have to tell my sister not to brinh anymore but i don't think she will listen to me.

I feed four stray cats who live around my house, and the one to which I am most attached comes into my enclosed back porch every night to get canned tuna, and a safe and warm place to sleep overnight. He is an old man and deserves to be treated well.

Not really much I can do. Just love my dog a little extra than I already do I guess. My next dog will come from a reputable breeder; nothing against rescues and shelter dogs but I don’t agree with the policies rescues and shelters have.

We should cook them in a large community curry.

Food prices are high, might as well make some use out of those unwanted animals and feed the homeless.

Get them fixed, donate food and stop fucking buying them from puppy mills or as Christmas gifts.

Donate to a shelter and/or animal charity. You have to be careful though, some animal charities are sketchy and keep the money for themselves.
