Champagne for New Years , Eggnog for Christmas , but Beer for Memorial Day and July 4th, but no Budweiser products. They have lost $15.7 Billion now. Can they survive no sales for Memorial Day and 4th of July? Those days are like Christmas sales for Retail. I think they file bankruptcy.

They can survive but it might require replacing the entire BoD and upper management and a rebranding. Maybe even being acquired by another brand. This was a case of idiotic marketing people not knowing or understanding or maybe just not caring about the company's customer base.

Seeing as how July 4th is right around the corner, I'm pretty sure they will survive. Alcohol drinking can be done by any one on earth. To say a transgender person can't represent the brand makes no sense, but some people are so incredibly offended by this that they don't want to buy the beer anymore, which is fine, it's their money. You can't force people to keep following a brand they personally feel no longer represents them in some way.

The company is kind of between a rock and a hard place though because well, its basically Pride month coming up and you can't really renege on your support of this person in your ads or they risk a further plumet in sales from all sides. I believe what they have done is attempt to ignore all of this (didn't work) and put those responsible for the campaign on leave. I'm fairly certain whatever happens next will be an overreaction to the sales drop---like they'll probably revert to having ads with scantily clad women washing cars and being sprayed by hoses while drinking the beer as men cheer in the background.

This is a case (no pun intended) of truth in marketing gone wrong. How could they let up on their customers that they are selling them "fag" watered down beer? How stupid? Can you imagine Nabisco/"Oreoes" putting a person with a terrible cold and swollen glands on the package to let everyone know how their product trashes their immune system?

Maybe there's something wrong in the education system...

I don't know the finances, the bean counters will figrue this out soon... it's gotta be painful, but I bet those executives sold stock early and are taking huge bonuses...
