I think that if they didn't die from thirst, hunger, cold and stress already then the lack of oxygen is going to get them very soon. They could not save them. The submarince had a failure of the hull which apparently imploded, and every peoson in it died.
Thank the CEO of the company that built the thing who decided that safety inspections were too expensive and launched it without them.

Sad to say, but no, I think I they're doomed. Even if the sub is found, the Coast Guard would have to rely on the Navy for a craft that could dive down and rescue them. That will take too long.

I voted D. There were 3 fail safe systems that would automatically take them to the surface in case of trouble. None of these have deployed. I have to imagine they are trapped down there.
Odds are as I am typing this is that they are already dead and O2 ran out early last evening.
