I've gone out for Valentine's Day a few times, but honestly I don't like doing it just because it's "the thing people do". It seems so mechanical.

I've never had a reason to celebrate it.
But I'd rather do something extra special another night than Valentine's as with every celebrating it. It just makes it crap, to crowded and more limited on everything. Pick another day of the year just for you and your partner maybe find a basis that works for you. It would be much nicer.I'm not a cop, bank robber, or attorney, so I don't have a partner
