My friends have told me that I'm really "forward" for a girl ( I guess this means I come out and tell people how I feel) . In a guys opinion, is this good or bad ?
I find that to be better than the other extreme, where the girl doesn't reveal much and leaves you guessing. More information is better than not enough. At least a guy knows where he stands. If more people said what they feel, we would have fewer misunderstandings. I think guys usually tend to be the ones who can't say what they really feel. They often want their actions to speak for them and for women to pick up on that. Like the way Denis Leary talks to his dad in the early episodes of Rescue Me, if you've ever seen that. It's so true.
Depends in what way . If it is sexually, then guys that aren't man hoes don't like it as we see it as slutty . If it is emotionally, then it can be overwhelming to me, but I like it as it shows that there is a person there that will be honest with me . It also depends whether you're telling people something that should perhaps be said in private rather, like a personal issue you may have with someone . I have very little respect for someone that attacks someone publicly for something done in private between the two of them . I have respect for someone that confronts an issue that is had between them when the issue arises and deals with it in an appropriate way .
Not slutty at all just very open . If I like a guy, I make sure he can tell:-) Thanks for answering . - 9 months ago

O-O I promise I wasn't calling you slutty! You mentioned that it was about feelings, so I knew that. I was just making sure I covered all the bases. It's good that he can tell easily if you like him. Guys HATE it when a girl drops these subtle hints (go to my profile and you'll see a question I asked about what guys hate that girls do. I also asked anonymously why girls drop these hints in 'behaviour' if you want to see) and expect them to understand, so being open is a very good thing. - 9 months ago
I think that when girls are open and honest it shows maturity for assessing an emotional situation. It also rids the confusion of being shy with playing games. Some guys may be intimidated by this sort of open communication, but in that case its just probably something he's not used to. But you also want to be careful with wording and tone on certain subjects, nobody likes feel accused or hastily confronted. So just keep up with what your doing, I think it would be a much easier world if everybody was as open.
Well I do the same thing. I think it is good because you are honest and upfront. That's the only way to be. I also think you might can reword things to make it not sound as bad. I have had to learn to do that.
