Met this girl at the gym bout 2 months ago, for the next 3 days, she IMs me, leaves me facebook comments, says she wants to hang out MULTIPLE TIMES, sends me her number without me even asking for it. We hang out, I try to make a move, after I kissed her once, she turned her head. I apologized 2 weeks later and she said its fine. She hadn't contacted me at all in the next few weeks(while I had been trying to), only time was when she saw me at church on easter sunday, and as soon as mass was over she texted me saying I JUST SAW U, HAPPY EASTER.
So I saw her at the gym last week and she kept following me around kinda (not in a bad way) and wanted me to go to grocery store with her? Anyway, she asked me get coffee last weekend, so we went and it was good. STILL, she never contacts me first like she used to BEFORE we hung out? Last week I see her at the gym again, AS SOON as she sees me she goes I BEEN TRYIN GET UR ATTENTION BUT You DIDN'T HEAR ME, IF You DIDN'T DO ABS YET, You WANNA COME DO THEM WITH Me.
She has been telling me the past month that she has had problems at home because her Grandma(whom lives with her) keeps going in and out of the hospital and its making her family kinda crazy, and I do believe her but I still think she's acting kinda strange. And just 2 days ago she texted me asking me if I was going to the gym because she wanted to go on the elliptical with me. I mean she obviously knows that I'm interested in her, so if she just wanted to be friends, wouldn't she have just backed off by now?
How irritating! I certainly sympathize with you. Sounds like she wants to be control - rather than the reverse. Next time she texts do not respond right away. Take your time. Let her know that your busy and will get back to her in due time. Based on what you have said about this girl so far it doesn't sound like she is shy (so we cannot use the 'shyness' excuse for her unusual behavior). For all you know she loves the immediate attention that she gets from you, she likes knowing she can contact you anytime and you are willing to be there for her. You gotta make seem like she has to work for your attention -- don't just give it freely because she won't really value it. Maybe she is like this with a lot of guys (especially if she is attractive & outgoing & she knows it it! ) --- these types of women just treat men however they please. They know they can get the attention immediately. Just at a click of their fingers. Sorry, but she is gonna have to work harder. Get my drift?
