There's this really quiet girl in one of my classes, we've talked now for about a month and a half and I'm not sure if she likes me, but I really like her. I'm just wondering how to flirt with her because if I'm too aggressive I'm afraid she'll lose interest. I was thinking of good'ol thumb wrestling, but would like some other ideas. Anything with light physical contact I think would be good, just need some other ideas, thanks.
Just talk to her a lot and ask how she is and show interest in her and what's going on in her life and all. As a female if a guy talks about himself all the time then I don't think he's interested. I was very shy in school and if a guy had showed he was concerned how I was then I would probably have opened up more. The thumb wrestling would be good, but just make sure she's comfortable with it. Just basically hang around her a lot and talk to her.
I would look at her in the eyes and smile at her a lot. And sit close to her but not touch her. Until you know that she wants you to touch her. Show her that you like her through your actions, like helping her with her homework, or anything that she needs. Maybe set up a “study date and have some people around the first couple of times etc
I'm not sure about thumb wrestling, seems kind of childish(maybe it's just me) but what you could do is find out what she's interested in, and work on it, talk about that stuff, the more you two talk she will find more comfortable with you and won't be so shy. Shy only comes when the person don't know that other person well, its a scared feeling kind of way.
