It means he liked the conversation. Doesn't automatically means he likes you likes you. But it doesn't rule it out. It means your basically not boring.
it could mean he just liked the conversation, but it could mean that he likes you too. it just depends.
It's an ending I would use with a friend. It's a friendly thanks ("it was nice seeing you"). It's a bit generic. But that's my take on it.
