I met this guy through a group trip and we had a great time. we started talking a lot and he always is looking at me. the other day he invited me to a party and was persistant that I come and we had a great time talking and everything. I tried talking to him recently but I haven't gotten a response back. He lives on campus but I never see him during the day. The only way we can talk is texting or at a meeting on thurs. How do I know he likes me with out making a fool of myslef and throwing myself at him? And how do I get him to text me more?
Well when I was your age if I hung out with a girl that was this clingy, I would have dropped her. You really need to give him his space and stop being emotional because he probably was initially interested but then you went crazy on him. Although text is the new form of communication, sometimes an old fashion phone call won't hurt just to clear the air. If he still does not respond then drop him because he's ignoring you and you will be wasting your time. I say move on to the next guy that you have mutual connection with.
