I'm a sophomore in high school and he is a junior....we met in our spanish class this year and are on the swim team together. He will IM me whenever he's online, and will sometimes text me saying "you looked good today". He helped me through my breakup with my boyfriend a few months ago and is overall a sweet and perfect guy. The problem is, we don't really talk to each other during school much because we don't have any other classes/frees with each other other than spanish. we do acknowledge each other though almost every time we see each other at school.
Recently I realized that I like him, and so I started making a few physical moves like: I hadn't seen him for about a week during winter break and finally we were both at swim practice and I gave him a hug. ill touch his arms and stuff sometimes and he'll often lean against me during spanish if we're sitting next to each other.
I have a horse and ill text him when I'm at the barn sometimes, telling him my horse is "saying hi". he seems to take an interest and will say things like "give him an extra carrot for me", and he seems to take an interest in coming out to see him sometime.
Plus I was at a swim meet a few days ago and he kept like touching my shoulders and stuff because I was timing instead of swimming (I was sick) and he kept coming by to get the times from me.
Bottom line: I really like this guy. Sorry for writing such a novel but I want to know...do you think he likes me?
Maybe he is interested and you need to take the initiative! I for one was a late bloomer also! I use to do all the things he would do, but until one girl made that big move to basically teach me quote on quote! Well what I am saying is that you need to take the reigns and lead this boy to you!!!
p.s. some guys are so shy that they are blinded by the little things that women do for them! So go get him!
Definitely sounds like it. Make sure he isn't treating other girls just the same, though--then it really doesn't mean anything. But remember, it doesn't matter if he likes you if you never do anything about it. Talk to him a lot. Smile, wave, and say, "Hey {Name}!" whenever you see him. Make him comfortable with you. Sounds like you're doing great so far, but step it up so it's easier for him to tell.
