What does it mean when a guy keeps bringing up other girls?

Oh okay, but I never said that I liked him or showed any signs that I do. In fact, I don't even take the initiative to talk to him. He calls me, texts me, and talks to me. Not the other way around, but every so often he'll bring up some other girl, and I'll be like "Oh, well that's fantastic. She seems like sweet girl, etc". It's really hard to read this guy because we're friends but he always says stuff that makes me think he likes me, but then again he says stuff that makes me think he doesn't

I think you might be reading a little too much into the situation. Like you siad, you guys are friends and maybe he feels like he can confide in you about that stuff, and since your a girl, maybe that makes him feel more confortable talking to you about them. If he does it ALL the time, like a best girlfriend would, then he just really trusts you that's all. But if he does it very sparingly, only once or twice a month, then he might be interested in you and trying to make you jealous.

Yes, he only does it every once in a while. Why would he be trying to make me jealous? It's not like he's my boyfriend.
