Squats

hello there, OK, so I have put on a little bit of weight, I was 140 pounds and now I'm 150.

i was just wondering, I have cut out the bad foods, and I was wondering, could doing squats and lunges and crunches every morning and night, could I loose some weight?

i also have cut out all the soft drink, and am now drinking a lot of water.

so even doing heaps of lunges and squats, even though they get my heart pumping it wouldn't do anything?
