i was just wondering, I have cut out the bad foods, and I was wondering, could doing squats and lunges and crunches every morning and night, could I loose some weight?
i also have cut out all the soft drink, and am now drinking a lot of water.
It wouldn't hurt. As mentioned you might actually put a few pounds on being 150 your obviously not fat. If you did put on weight it would obviously be muscle and you wouldn't look like you gained any weight you would look like you still lost weight. Also as mentioned to really lose weight and be in good shape you need cardio and lots of it. it doesn't have to be running you can run, swim, skate, bike, anything that gets your heart pumping and for a good amount a time. The best is to do a combination of these. For example I run every other day and bike the other days and in the summer ill add swims. Don't touch diet soda it will only make you want normal soda and diet isn't that good for you. Stick with water or if you want flavor go with propel, vitamin water, green tea. Good Luck
Yes they will not much how fast do you really think lunges will get you heart rate up to? Maybe 120 or so a good cardio will get you up to 180 at least.
Like I mean I'm doing over 200 squats and lunges. I have pretty strong legs so its easy. then I'm doing skipping rope
Well skipping rope will get your heart pumping
I'm not a physical fitness expert, but I think they wouldn't hurt. I think the best way to lose weight is to do a lot of cardio workouts, but again I'm not an expert.
No, they would probably make you gain weight(muscle weight). Squats/lunges etc...those are all correlated with strength training. If you want to lose weight you will have to do a combination of strength training, cardio and eating healthier. Anywho...Good Luck and Great job on cutting out those soft drink calories. Try drinking diet. Takes a while to get used to, but it's well worth it.
Nope, you would actually gain weight because squats and lunges build your muscles up. Cardio is for losing weight, squats and lunges don't really get your heart pumping tbh. You should combine cardio with the squats and lunges. For cardio I do running, skipping & boxing so do something like that which really gets your heart pumping.
