Ok just a little warning this is definitely not the healthiest methods but I no people that use/used some and they do/did work. You can starve yourself for a period of days around two days then eat a small light meal, the first day or two will be the hardest as your stomach will need to adjust to lack of food but stick through it and gradually it will become easier and your hunger will go away as your stomach contracts. Another method one of my friends did was eating but then force vomiting, disgusting but it did work she ate the foods she wanted and then just vomited it. Apart from general health risks the other bad affects are if you get to your desired size 0 and want to go back to eating normally (even healthy) you will put weight back on incredibly fast. Your best way will be to diet and exercise as this makes it more manageable to keep the weight off even though it may take longer to see results in the long run this is a much better option. Also another factor in this day and age is dieting has become so much easier for people as they are not looked at as being different for being on a diet (especially women) and it is actually encouraged by many people as they will help and support a proper diet.

Question Asker Ive done the make my self sick thing for 2 years and I couldn't be discreet about it so starving seems to be the way to go - 2 months ago
Answerer Ok just remember you must eat some food don't starve yourself till you collapse two days should be enough time between small meals to see results. May I ask why you wouldn't want to diet properly if you don't feel comfortable answering or if you just don't want to answer that is fine but I must state the result in long term are much better with a proper diet. Best of luck. - 2 months ago
Question Asker Because to be honest I give up if I don't see results straight away and I want a change quick - 2 months ago

Well I don't no how many months it is till its summer where you live but I'm guessing you wanna loose it in a short period of time (as most people always want quick remedies)? Maybe you could offer a time period for all the readers so we can be more specific, things like is it an event where you just want to loose the weight for a little while or do you wanna keep the weight off. Are you thinking of just simple dieting or do you wanna do something more drastic like starving etc (not that I'm in favor of those kinds of way, but by the sounds of you question your wanting something along those lines?

If you aren't over weight then you have nothing to worry about. Most girls who are size zero make themselves that way because they are insecure about themselves and stuff like that. You don't need to look like those other girls. I bet looks of people love you the way you are. Basically the only way you could ever be THAT skinny was if you starved yourself, which I'm not suggesting at all. Its a horrible thing to go through. I should know, I didn't it to myself and it was horrible.

Start by setting a realistic goal for yourself. Losing up to 2 pounds a week is healthy. So if you exercise and eat healthy, you can probably lose 5 pounds a month, possibly more. When I tried losing weight a while back I deducted 500 calories from the amount of calories I needed to maintain my weight. I then started losing weight because I burned more calories than I took in. I'm sure you've heard all this already and many times, but I just want to try and emphasize to you that in the long run, if you are consistent and have the willpower and motivation to lose weight you will see amazing results. It's better to do it in a healthy way, and wait longer to see results, rather than going the unhealthy way, and then most likely put the weight back on, if not more. Remember the fable of the hare and the tortious? Well the moral of it was the slow and steady one, or patient one was rewarded, the turtle won the race. The following quote here: "You patiently let yourself get out of shape; you need to grant yourself a commensurate length of time to get back in shape." actually motivated/encouraged me to keep going and not give up on working out everyday and eating right. I lost 13 pounds in 2 and a half months and kept it off. If I can do it, you can too!

If you are truly sure this will make you happy then go for it, people have posted more than enough (unhealthy & dangerous) ways to go about it and I'm sure you're going to try.

Just a word of warning for you: a friend of mine would have been "chubby" not fat, but not "average" weight. She did all these methods and became really really thin, the size of one of our friends who is naturally a twig (i'm sure you're thinking GREAT!). well because she was naturally a bigger size (and by NO means plus size) she looked like a lolly pop head woman with bones jutting out of her body, her hips looked like they were going to burst through her skin and her legs looked like they were bending inwards.

Anyway she put some of the weight back on and looks well better. So a size 0 won't necessarily look THE BEST on you, you might look your prettiest & slimmist at a size 2 or something. you don't wanna look like you're dying! seriously!

Answerer & you can't measure a person's "fatness" by a clothing size!!! it all depends on the person! :) - 2 months ago
*StillWater* No, it doesn't depend on the person, it depends on their height! Nothing else! - A month ago
Answerer Eh yeah that's kinda what I meant by the person, the individual, taking everything into consideration about their body... - A month ago

Look take it from me it will not work if you solely starve yourself and don't have the will power to eat properly. I starve myself for a month (yes it is possible as long as you keep you body filled with liquid) because I wanted to be slim and sure enough I got results fast, pants were loose my stomach was flat, my face slimmed down and it didn't helped that everyone was complimenting on how great I looked. The neg side was I did go down from a 36D to a 34 C which I wasn't too happy losing a cup size but other then that I felt good. Then I crashed and I began to compulsively eat everything in sight and sure enough I gained everything back. I've been doing this for almost a year and now I can no longer eat right. Not happy with my body now and it's come to the point where I cut myself because I failed and now I'm beginning to realized that the quick fix is not the right fix. I know how it feels to be on a proper diet and your eating and then you look at the scale and see that you haven't lost any weight whereas if you starved yourself then you would have lost 5 pounds in 2 days. Losing weight has to be a lifestyle change. If you want the quick fix then starve yourself as long as you can and if you eat something throw it up and be prepared to do that for the rest of your life, doesn't sound pretty right?

This is what I'm planning to do and seeing that your in a similar situation as I am this might benefit you. Cut off all junk food and pick one fav food that you like to eat and eat it one day out of the week that way your body won't feel like your depriving yourself. Then go on a meal plan that you can follow and write out a list of things you can eat when you eat out. Many people think if you go out to eat gives you an excuse to eat the wrong food and it's not an excuse. You can go out to any fast food place and order the healthy dish rather then the burger and fries. Now I would suggest you eating something light in the morning oatmeal, fruits even cereal just make it's portion sized not the big huge bowl, Salads and sandwiches in the afternoon and snacks in between and if you have the money to spend you can eat those frozen dinners the healthy ones as a replacement.

Exercise is also key size 0? Come on that's not attractive. Ask any guy how they would prefer their girls and a small small percentage would say they like a stick for a girl. Boobs and ass are attractive features and believe me if you go to the gym and tone up rather then being skin and bones you won't have any trouble finding someone.

So take this from someone whose been through this and if your serious in losing weight then do it the right way. It may take some time but the results will be worth it and long lasting. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

I definetly understand wanting to be skinny. And wanting immediate results. It's ultimately your choice how you want to do it. I was in the same situation (size 10, and wanted to drop weight FAST) so I went the starving route. It worked GREAT the first summer. Size two after only a month. But then I couldn't stop. I'd literally get horribly sick if I ate more than a bite or two.

So if you want to go that route (I refuse to preach what I'm sure you've heard and tell you not to) just make sure to take vitamins at the same time and maybe give yourself one thing to snack on and let yourself eat as much as you want since it has almost no calories (like celery or carrots) so you don't end up not being able to eat at ALL.

Why would you want to get rid of your curves? Embrace them. Most of the guys I talk to prefer to have a girl with curves and who isn't a stick (size 0). Don't get sucked into the fake skinny girl mode if you can avoid it. Yea some girls are naturally skinny and look good that way but if you have to force yourself to be skinny then don't do it. I learned a few months ago when I was making real progress in beating my anorexia (yea I was anorexic for 2 1/2 years) that being skinny doesn't make you beautiful. Personality does. I mean look at the "plus size" top model winner!?! She is beautiful but she is a size 14!

I guess I am rambling a little bit but what I am trying to say is be happy with yourself and don't try to be someone you arn't because things like anorexia get to your head and seem like a good idea.

I hope I helped!

I know you said you didn't want to hear anything negative but too bad, lol. After reading most of your comments to other posts I have to say that you have a VERY unrealistic idea. starving yourself or anything of the sort to try to lose that much weight that quickly is likely to land you in the hospital for one thing. For another thing, when you starve yourself, puke up your food, or otherwise partake in unhealthy methods of losing weight you end up being grotesque, not pretty.

Losing too much weight to make your bones stick out is gross, not attractive. My entire life I was one of those stick figure girls and I can tell you right now that the grass is NOT greener on that side of the fence. I spent my whole life trying to put on weight and it took having 2 kids to do it. I would take the body I have now (even though it's not perfect and I would like to lose a couple pounds myself) over that body ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. In fact I think I would rather put on another 10 pounds than go back to what I was. Clothes don't fit right, bones stick out, it is NOT attractive.

For another thing, when you use these unhealthy methods it makes your hair flat, dull, and it starts to fall out. Ooooooo yeah, that's REALLY sexy. It also takes a noticeable toll on your skin, teeth, nails, etc. Bottomline, it makes you uglier not prettier.

You need to quit looking for a way to become a size 0 and start looking for a therapist instead. You've got serious mental problems to think this is a good idea and you need help. Not trying to be mean but it's true. You've got a problem and you need help. Not diet help, mental help.

an eating disorder is what you will accomplish by going down the starving path, or the throw up your food path. when you have an eating disorder your body goes into starvation mode, it saves ALL the calories that youve eaten, all the carbohydrates and proteins are turned into fat and energy for your body. after all those are eaten up by your body for energy, it will slowly eat away all your muscle for energy, all you will be left with is fatty tissue which takes very long for your body to get rid of by just starving yourself. I had a slight eating disorder, and it is NOT the way to go. it affects everyone around you. it ruins lives. not only your own but the people you love and who are close to you. you may not think so, but it does. not everyone is built or has the genes to be a size zero, it may just not be in the cards for you, I know now it isn't for me, and I have come to accept that. you need to accept your body for what it is, learn to love it. god gave it to you the way it is for a reason. if you want to lose weight do it the healthy way, go see a nutritionist. she will help you with your eating plans, and that will start you off. stop eating junk food, it is horrible for your body. eat a lot of greens, and not a lot of fatty meats or foods like that. get a personal trainer, and if you cannot afford that get a simple gym merbership. there are classes that are great cardio workouts that help you burn thousands of calories. find a better way that just starving yourself. starving yourself may seem like the easy way not, but you will look back and thank the lord that you didn't go down that road. times are getting hard, and the pressure to be beautiful is harder than ever, but the time is to chose the easy way or the right way. I hope you can find true happiness with youself. I hope I helped at all.

starving yourself is not the way to go. either is throwing up all your food. those are both extremely dangerous things that in the end could kill you. get a gym pass! by working out regularly and eating healthy and not eating junk you can easily lost weight! you aren't going to get instant gratification, that is not how weight works. its not just going to one day be gone because you starved yourself the week before, that is not how your body works. I slightly had an eating disorder. although I didn't tell anyone, I knew it was wrong. I would not eat. but your body isn't just going to let you not eat and lose tons of weight suddenly. it will go into starvation mode and will start reserving all the calories, fats, and proteins that you have eaten. then once that is all eaten up by your body for energy, it will start eating all your muscle, so all you will be left with is fatty tissue, and that takes a long time to get rid of. your muscle will be gone in a snap though. you just need to find a heathly meal plan. go to a nutritionist, get a personal trainer, but don't go down the road of an eating disorder. it ruins lives, not just yours but it affects the lives of the people you love and are close to. not everyone is meant to be a stick, or a size zero. you need to accept your body and yourself for who you are and what it is. be happy with the body god gave you.

First of all, eating healthy and exercise are really the best & healthiest way, it's classic.
But like the other girls, I don't understand why you want to be a size 0. What size are you now? You should use that to determine what you could realistically be to be thinner & still healthy.
