Boyfriend Lose Weight

Wowww…that’s awkward.

I do disagree with people who say “if you love him, it shouldn’t matter.” It’s not that his weight keeps you from loving him, you just (understandably) don’t want it to create any awkwardness in your relationship, not to mention health issues.

First of all, you really can’t just come out and say “look hun, you’re fat, and I’d be sooo much more attracted to you if you were thinner.” NEVER! So you will just have to find ways to subtly help him without being too direct or hurtful.

Probably the best way to deal with his weight issues is to tell him that you’ve decided to start eating healthier and working out. Act really really enthusiastic about it too! Tell him “I have so much more energy than I did before and I’m losing! This is really great!” I understand you probably don’t need to lose and you’re probably already health-conscious, but don’t be afraid to rub it in his face a little to get his attention : ) If he’s at all a normal guy, you’ll get him thinking “Wow; if she thinks she needs to get healthier, shouldn’t I be doing something?” Or on a more positive note, “wow, she’s really having fun with this getting-healthier stuff. Maybe I ought to try it.” And if you make it obvious that health matters to you, he’ll try his best to make it matter to him because he loves you.

He probably just needs a little nudge. And lucky he’s a guy—that usually means it’s ridiculously easy for him to lose weight! UGH….aren’t they disgusting? LOL just kidding…we love men! : )

Working out together is the best way. Your like a team if you work together, rollerblading burns major calories and its fun. Try things like that and if you two live together and you go to the store don't buy the frozen pizza's or the cookies etc. If there are none in the house there will be no temptation at home. If you have a positive attiude about working out and eating better some of that will rub off on him. Hope I helped best of luck : ]
