YES. . Long hair, flowing and soft, attracts attention and is one of the first things a guy notices in a crowd. Then his eyes wander further. This defines you as a woman at first glance. I'm not saying that short hair can't be attractive, or long hair can't be worn by a guy, but long hair on a woman, is a turn-on for me - I can't wait to run my fingers through it.
You see men more likely to look sexy for being bald than women for a reason. Men are subconsciously attracted to look for healthy women to have babies with. Long healthy hair is an indicator of health.
The hotter you are in other ways, the more likely you can get away with or pull off shorter hair. But for the most part long pretty hair gets better reactions and results from men.
I would say that the majority (maybe 95%) of guys prefer longer hair. There are many times when a girl has long gorgeous pretty hair, and she chops it all for something different, and all the guys groan on the inside and think, "What were you thinking. " Girls have such pretty hair, why cut it off? I know girls want to do something different, and want a change, but to be honest, most guys like girls with hair at least to their shoulders. I'm not saying that girls with short hair are ugly. But long hair is definitely more attractive for the majority of guys.
I think guy's prefer long hair. I have long hair and every guy I have dated said do not cut your hair. My ex would cringe when I went to the salon. He was afraid I would cut it off. So, I think they like it.
