I don't think I'm the only boy who couldn't careless about a girl's finger nails (unless they are yellow long and chipped up of course) or eyelashes, I recommend that you girl's don't concentrate on your eyelashes or fingernails because that's the last thing boys will look at.
For one, we do it for ourselves and to impress each other. Second, a lot of guys do notice but not consciously. You don't notice them specifically but in an overall sense. Like if a girl is put together or just a mess and so on.
but I like my eyelashes to look long and thick. it doesn't seem like it matters, but it makes a big difference on your overall appearance when your eyelashes are more defined.
girls don't JUST worry about those two things, though. they focus on everything.
Maybe,just maybe,we do it for ourselves! I would never stop painting and looking after my fingernails because they are one of my best features. I lovee painting them,shaping them and doing designs on them because it makes them look really pretty and makes me feel nicer. I defo have never painted my nails for any guy before. And also, you would defo notice a difference if all girls stopped wearing mascara! Mascara makes our eyes stand out and look prettier.
have you ever heard of "batting her eyelashes"..its really feminine, so girls like perfecting over that. and nails, especially painted ones, are feminine as well. everything is perfected so that the girl feels like the 'perfect package'.
But those unnaturally dark, long eyelashes don't look good. Are you after actual improvement of your appearance or are you simply conforming to a perceived ideal based upon unreal expectations?

I don't wear fake ones but obviously perceived ideal based upon unreal expectations..where else do girls get ideas of what is pretty or not?
we look at other things as well, but eyelashes/ fingernails are just something additional to the other stuff we look after ie. hair, face, makeup, outfit, coordinating colours, shoes etc I could go on...
Ya I kno you guys have a lot of things to worry about concerning your beauty , I'm just saying maybe to ease your load, you can take off the nails and eyelashes bcuz it's not that important, just saying
Because some people like to change their appearance even in a small way. And if someone else should notice, it makes a person feel good about themself. While I don't really notice eyelashes, I will compliment nice fingernails.
