Girls: Why do you not use double ponytails?

Are you kidding me? I wear them all the time, almost as much as single ponytails. I have layered hair and that and double braids are how I keep it from falling into my face constantly. Unfortunately I can't wear it that way at work because it isn't a "professional hairstyle" according to the bank I work for.

The first picture - I doubt anyone wears them like that (it's really childish - made only for that picture)... The second picture is more acceptable... I just never wear them because I do think they're way too childish + I look younger already so I really don't want to look like I'm 15 again.

I don't wear them because I don't have enough hair. All the hair on my head = about 1/2 of one of those pigtails. My ponytails are like rat tails lmao

That's okay. It's not the length of the hair that's the issue. It's the fact that my hair is thin. There's just not a lot of it on my head so hairstyles are next to impossible for me lol

I wear my hair similar to that in the second picture sometimes. When I do it and am around my guy friends they tend to go crazy. My girlfriends say it makes me look too young when i already have a problem looking my age.

Those hairstyles are used in p*rn (especially the first one) to give the women a childish vulnerable look which makes the man look more dominant.
We don't want to look like childish p*rn stars.

I sometimes wear them but mostly like in the second pictures. Guys usually comment and say how it's sexy. I already look pretty young + very short so i don't wear my hair like that often.

They look very silly on adults. That is why most adults don't wear them. And your second argument is silly because breathing isn't something you have to pull off. You have to be able to pull off pigtails and I just don't think that adults do.

They don't look silly. When every single woman you see is either using loose hair or a ponytail, pigtails or a braid are definitely a refreshing sight.

Pigtails? Ugh no way. I don't wear them because I think they should only be worn by young girls. Like under 10 years old. It's the same reason why I don't wear ribbons and bows in my hair either.

My hair isn't long enough yet. I have a really square jaw and I used to find that they just emphasized it in the worst way possible. I try to diminish it as much as possible. I think French braid pigtails could work though and they are better suited to someone my age. They just take time to put in.
