Yes, I did! It took my about 6 months to realize that I didn't really have true feelings for him. I was basically "sadly to say" using him to get over my ex, using him to move on with my life, using him to have something to do. At first I didn't realize it, until I stopped drinking and looked at my life. I realized that he was a rebound. The first 3 months I was just getting to know him after that it was like Okay I don't really feel anything for him.then at 6 months I ended the relationship. We are still friends, and feel bad. but to this day I still can't stand to be flirty with him like he wants to me. I know its sad and evil but we all do it.

No set time to realize a rebound because your in complete denial anyway?.for the record a rebound relationship is only something that comforts you for the time being. My experience rebounds usually happen to make someone else jealous and when all the fun dies so does the relationship!
My average is 12 hours, but that was only because I realised that the relationship had been doomed from the start. Apart from that, it takes as long as it takes. Normally about a week.
I had several brief rebounds all lasting about 1-3 weeks, ironically the girl I wanted to get serious with thought SHE was the rebound. And we started dating a year after I separated. She pulled away after three months, now we're just friends. To this day still thinks she was a rebound, although I slept with four other women between my ex and her.
I think on average a week to a month, but if the person is really in denial, then it could go longer.
