I saw this guy a couple of times, it was really great, we got along amazingly...it wasn't exactly ''dates'', we met in a club, blablabla. we've been together only once outside the club, on a Tuesday night, very casual at his place. This was the second time we saw each other.
Long story short, on the third time I saw him, we were out with a bunch of friends, he told me he loved me while he was drunk, and I chose to igore it and don't talk to him about it.
2 weeks after, I got wayy too drunk and texted him that I really liked him and that I wished he was here... The next morning I got a text saying : '' I think you've got the wrong idea of me, I'm not looking for anything serious '' So I said that I wasn't either since I just got out of a long term relationship, then we agreed to keep things simple (only sex) , and then he replied '' OK, I'll call you this week.''
Of course he never did ! I didn't either because I was so ashamed ! lol - Even though from my point of view, him telling me that he was deep in love with me is way more scary that me telling him I like him, but whatever... I thought I would never hear from him again.
The week after, he texted me he wanted to see me, and I said I was gonna call him on the Thursday or Friday to do something , and I didn't call because finally I was out of town. (and frankly, I didn't want to seem clingy so I just didn't text him at all)
4 days later he texted me again, asking when we were gonna see each other again, and we decided to meet on the Saturday downtown, since we were both supposed to go out. On that night, something happened (I bumped into my ex) so I cut it short with the guy, he texted me 2 or 3 times but I answered only later.
Then at 7 AM, my phone rings, that's him. Possibly still a bit hammered. He NEVER called me, we always text only, since we agreed to a no-strings attached thing... he says like ''yea I know its early but I was thinking about you, last week you said you were gonna call and never did, you're mean... I like you I wanna see you, I miss you, really'' and like we talked about random stuff for about 40-45 minutes, he seemed really tired - and so was I, so I kept telling him to call me later, and he didn't want to, saying he wanted to talked to me NOW because he missed me .
What's the deal ? For sure he wasn't drunk drunk, because he got home at 3h30 and had time to sleep.. I believe he was still ab bit intoxicated though, for sure.
Why would he call me at 7 in the morning instead of sending me a text (he never replied to the last text I sent him hat night) and most importantly, why would he say he misses me and stuff, when HE was the one that freaked out in the first place ?
In fact, if he got THAT scared, why does he still want to see me ?
