How many chances do you allow someone to cancel a date they themselves make with you before giving up on them?

It really depends. Generally, 2-3 is the maximum amount of chances I'll give.

Sometimes I've had women get back to me and ask me out after canceling a date 2-3 times in a row so you never know, but it still makes me skeptical. It can be hard to tell because some people are legitimately busy.

The ones I don't get are the ones who initiate and ask to meet up, only for them to flake. It's like what the fuck, why are you talking to me then?

You've had that too? I've recently had a guy ask me out 3 times and each time something comes up. The thing is, they're all believable and understandable so I keep giving him the benefit of the doubt. Life happens, I get it. Don't worry about it. But then of course doubt comes in as well. I don't know, I don't understand it :/ or what I should do

Probably three... I hate feeling disappointed, I'll be pissed for a little bit but I don't wanna give up on them just like that. I believe in second chances (and thirds lol). Im quite lenient tbh even though I easily see through their excuses. 😒 Because well, I make such excuses all the time myself 😂

After that it's: "Well you clearly aren't making me a priority and can't follow through, so I'm not going to try to take this any further because it's clear where your interest is."

Depends. I'm a very busy person and almost always have to turn down invites/dates many times. However, I'll say things like "I'll be free in about 2 weeks" or "how about next weekend?" etc. If someone just says they can't though, then I'd stop caring after the second try.

If a guy cancels twice I assume he's not interested, unless the second time is a really good excuse. I'd probably be busy for any subsequent date offer. But it's always a case by case basis.
