my ex and I have been broken up for about a month now.. it didn't end so well and I said some hurtful things to him. Anyways, I recently sent him an apology text just to get it off my chest and I guess so I can move on. My ex responded back by saying he accepts my apology and he hopes I'm doing well. Now because his statement isn't a question do most people respond to it? I feel like I shouldn't respond because he didn't ask me a questions but my friends are saying he probabaly expects a reply.
Are you suppose to respond to a hope your doing well text?
