He only texts me once a day. Is this normal?

Been speaking to a guy from PoF, really cute and interesting. We exchanged numbers and now talk over WhatsApp. He only texts me once a day though, we exchange quite long messages, and when I reply I never hear from again until the next day. He never seems to really use WhatsApp, judging from he's last online. Admittedly, I sometimes take several hours to reply due to work but I always respond when I can. Last week he asked to go for a drink this weekend but I'm having doubts. I don't know if this is just his phone manner or if he's not that bothered? I'm going to wait for him to confirm the plans for the weekend, if not then I know he was a time waster.

Girl, is this normal? Of course it is! Back in my day (a few years ago), I was all over Tinder, but I had it on point. I would wait days to respond to these boys (gotta keep em wanting more, if ya know what I mean ;) ). But now that I have my fiance, I'm blowing up his phone 24/7. Love really is something. I would give the world for him. So yes, it is normal.

Thanks. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable making a guy wait several days before I answer each message. That seems a bit much. Ever since he messaged me, its just been one or two messages a day (mostly just one) and I hope he's not playing any silly game. I'm too old for that lol.

Well, if the messages are quite long, that kinda shows he's self disciplined and don't use social tools to much to not distract him, only messaging you at a given time, but writting good content, i guess.

I also don't like to text phone only, but this guy is a bit stranger. Go out with him only if you feel comfortable. Talking is very different from texting

I get bad anxiety when talking on the phone to people I don't know lol. I'm also dyslexic, so answering long texts takes a lot of time and thought!
