What does it mean when a guy hits you up when he's "bored"?

Often times I think guys (including myself) do this but don't mean it really in any particularly special way. It usually means (I think) that the guy has run out of things to do by himself, so he calls you, someone he can do something with.

I really don't think it's wise to read into it.

It's a nice stand-offish way to be with you. He actually wants to be there with you but can't say that. So you're just hanging out.

If you reject him being around, then it's no big deal to his ego because he was only with you because he was bored.

nothing was urgent and he wanted to talk to you but he doesn't want to seem too I don't know weird? like "hey what's up? I'm bored, do you want to talk?" sounds a lot better than "OMG I LOVE YOU LETS HAVE A CONVERSATION!" I think that second one would scare the vast majority of the population.

its depend on his personality I mean if he's a shy guy , that's mean he's thinking about you ,

or he just want to talk to you because he's bored .
