Asked her to be my girlfriend and she said Maybe?

Maybe? So I'm really interested in this girl, she's gorgeous, fun to be around and definitely girlfriend material. We've been dating all summer and I want her to be my girlfriend despite the fact that I go to school close to home and she goes away to school. So I asked her and she said Maybe... not sure how to take this. Advice?

Just for the record, her school's only and hour and a half away and I went to visit her over the weekend, so I'm willing to go visit every weekend

In all honesty, I tried that a couple years back with the same scenario you have, and it went to sh*ts hard. The girl bounced me out saying she couldn't date me. She really liked me given the summer we had had but was very reluctant to pursue anything. She also went to school in a different state and I truly believe given what I knew about her and how her relationships turned out after; she had SEVERE commitment issues and was fairly insecure too. Trust me, "maybe" gets you nowhere based on my experience. Chances are that she's not head over heels for you...I know it sucks to hear that, but I recommend staying on good terms with her. See if she can realize who you are while being out there. Wait, watch and see. But as for making her a GF, you might have to let her go. It stung like hell when mine blew me off years ago, and despite all the other great girls I met since, she was and still is the greatest I have known...

1 hour and a half isn't that far. Take what I wrote above and add that you should make it clear to her that you really don't mind the drive. Don't scare her off by saying ull come every weekend, but show her that, that stretch of highway is what some people in the world do to go to work every morning. Good luck with her, I really hope it works out man, I really do, given that I can relate to your story too.

Well let her think about it. I mean she is going away for school so it would be harder. I'd just let her think about it and try to get an answer before she leaves.

I'd say she's insecure about being a girlfriend. Maybe she has commitment issues or maybe she doesn't want a long distance relationship?

I wouldn't go off of that though, you don't know what's going on in her head.
