I know you're seeing me as I am today, well accomplished and polished.

What many people would call a success.

But, don't you know?

"Perfect" is just a figment of one's imagination.

I've fallen many times and still have gotten to where I am now.

I can't tell you how often, I have felt discouraged and wanted to give up.

What propelled me to continue striving towards my goal, was that I knew the full

potential of my abilities.

I knew that if I had fallen short, that there was something that had to be fixed...

something that I could do better the next time around.

You see...

tasks are meant to be completed;

not deleted.

A feeling of discouragement is a very natural process.

Yes, it makes us feel bad.

But the good that comes from it, is that it snaps us back into reality.

It gives you the ammunition to have the desire and will to excel towards greater.

You see where you are now,

and know you can do so much better!

Failure isn't an option; it is an outlet.

All of our lives lessons come from realizing what we could have done differently.

After we acknowledge our mistakes, only then will we have the potential to grow.

Failures are lessons that have the ability to teach us valuable knowledge, that we can carry with us for the rest of our lives.

What makes these failures useful is what you do with them.

You cannot go back in time, and correct where you went wrong,

but you can carry what you have learned, and make better decisions for your future.

If you watch a bunch of toddlers playing, one kid will stop doing what he is doing because he sees another kid doing something else. He wants to do the same thing because he feels like that other activity might be more fun.
A few of the people I follow on Twitter were having a conversation about their ex-wives. One guy said that his mistake was marrying a slut. One colleague told me about his mistake of trying to turn a ho into housewife. Another guy said his mistake was marrying a pre-party slut. A pre-party slut is a girl who might have a semblance of virtue when you marry her, but it is only by circumstance. Maybe her parents were strict or she otherwise didn’t have the opportunity. In reality, she may feel that she is missing out by not riding the cock carousel.
A fellow co-worker of mine went through this type of harrowing scenario. While he was in his mid-twenties, he met a girl who had just graduated high school. She came from a devout Christian family so on the surface she had good values. But after a couple of years of marriage she started cheating on him with not just one, but several random men.
I’ve also seen this “missing out” effect play out in the life of one my wife’s friends, this woman started to look outside her marriage for male affection, and is now in the process of transforming herself. She has become an attention whore on social media where she posts selfies of herself at the pool and advertises that she goes to concerts and bars without her husband. She dresses inappropriately for her age and body composition and she seems to be trying to erase all association with her husband and children.
This is all done to recapture the fun that she thinks she is missing out on. Modern women feel this way because they’ve been indoctrinated into believing that promiscuity is empowering. This flows from egalitarian doctrine: if some men sleep around, women too must be able to sleep around to be equal. Of course the feminist purveyors of this false doctrine don’t care if their false narrative makes it impossible for these women to ever become fit wives and mothers. That is what the feminists intended all along—to destroy marriage by making women incapable of staying married.

Dude... really!!! Like really!!! Let's get this out the way first, Christian values are the very triggers of repression that cause all this shit, not feminism. Feminism was a rightful movement to combat the males forced oppression of women (Abrahamic mythology being a massive spear of this oppression)

Then comes the actual behaviour. Missing out is a real thing, not a perceived thing (although it can overlap) And is not based on "because men do it, women must do it". its because religion, and other forced traditional options that were forced into many people, restricted their thinking in options.

Promiscuity (and I've had this out with OP) is about experiences and living life to the fullest. Everyone has a right to it. It's not indoctrination, it's just plain fucking fun.

And frankly most divorces I've seen is initiated by women because men treat them like shit or have affairs. Why? Because many men settle for the same reasons woman settle instead of actually choosing their path.

. . . I rather had the feeling that random people in society feel the need to tell those, who don't do that how incredibly "boring" they are and how they will never get a man.

No offense, but I think you might qualify as one of the most cynic people on here. :D
Kind of relieving to know though that "sleeping around" doesn't seem to be a problem with men, but with people.

@Scrambledagain Oh sorry, I was referring to the Opinion Owner. It's kind of discouraging to see that a lot of people have had bad experiences that seem to overshadow their perspective on life (including myself). Promiscuity has always been a thing - even in former times. Some people are promiscuous, some people aren't. It's easy to make generalizations based on bad experiences (and everyone does it once in a while).
