I'm 21 and I am really plain. I get told that I am pretty whenever I am dressed up, but that's hardly ever. I'm tired of this average look I have. I'm stuck in a rut and I need a complete image overhaul

i know that nobody is perfect but I do want to be that hot girl that turns heads when she walks in a room.

does anyone have any tips on how to do this? like hair, makeup, clothes, body.

Theres just sooo many things a girl can do to get better looking... Like you don't even know.

Okay where do I start, lets go top to bottom:

Hair- First of all, you gotta get a hair style that has to go with your face shape. You can be an egg--head, circle, oval, heart, diamond, etc. etc. etc. "How will I know what hair style suits my head?" You gotta ask that to other girls, look at other girls, and probably/possibly your hair stylist (leave that for last because not all hair stylists are pro...). Id say the MAIN thing you gotta do is just look around on the tv, internet, school, mall, ANYWHERE you see a "hott" girl, look at her face structure and her hair style, you're bound to look at one that's gunna have similar features to ures, and you can idealize from that.

Next, comes... face- Oh d00d this is where most of the girls IMO f*** up. First of all, you should really really pay attention to how healthy your face is and should be. Acne, blemishes, blackheads, oilly surfaces, etc. are unattractive and aren't the best for your face (healthwise). Next up, get some make up that's gunna look good on you. Once again... look around and see how other girls look with certain make up. now here's the important part: PUT IT ON RIGHT. I swear, there's tons of chix who can't even put on their eyeliner rite, got a cake-face, wrong color eye shadow, blah blah blah. Even if its the tiniest bit of make up, you better do it right.

Upper body- okay so this is where your creativity will come in along with your style. I'm not gunna tell you exactly what to buy because thatd be based off what I think looks good. anywys you can have a definite style or you can just mix it up with whatever looks good. By this I mean you don't have to be tied down to purchasing shirts from only certain stores. If a shirt looks good or "cute" in the least expected-store, then buy it. Its whatever makes you look good. "How do I know if its gunna look good?" Ask guys rather than girls in this case... girls too but I mean if you ask a girl, she might give you an answer based on what she likes and doesn't like. If you ask a guy, for the most part itll be an unbiased answer. A suggestion btw, if you got big boobs, try not to hide em. oh and also o to vintage stores, or even secondhand stores because those places sometimes have some unique sh*t, trust me.

Lower body - Hello jeans :D. hehehe. Bottom line is, this is where you show off your ass. Don't get saggy sh*t, and don't get jeans that take 20 minutes to fit into because theyre so tight (because it just moves all the "stuff" to your hips, making you look like you got love handles lol). Just get something that's gunna really point out the shape of the booty... like REALLY point it out.

Feet/Shoes - Okay I jus gotta say this (to the not young girls), BOOTS CAN BE SOO SEXY. Like, wow... But only if you can pull it off of course. anywys. once again depending on your style is what shoes your gunna get most likely... but try to get something girly that guys

wont usually wear. (like flats). This can tell you also got a feminine and girly side to you. If you get skate shoes and stuff like that, its totally understandable too because those things can be the most comfortable shoes in the world hahah.

And last but not least, at all (in fact probably should be top in priority), Body- I'm jus gunna be really honest and blunt, most guys don't like the obese ones, nor the stick-figure ones. Anything between that is acceptable. Bottom line is, you gotta workout. You might have a good figure now, but with working out it will be even better. Also, whenever you start exercise routines in your life, you gotta pair them up with the proper diet. Don't go all crazy and obsessive about it, because then it just becomes an issue, but I mean you gotta eat healthier. I'm not saying eat less, I'm not saying eat this or that. I'm just saying eat healthier, that's all.

I can go on for days actually about the workout and nutrition aspects, and I've left out sooo much things too like color coordination, clothes matching, etc. But I hope this gives you a tad bit of an idea of how you should start.

Wanting to be hot is not really objectifying yourself. It's more about just wanting people to take notice of you (both guys AND girls). It doesn't mean you have to change. Think of people you consider hot. How many of them still look good in a boring old singlet and shorts? its all about being confident!

I've just thrown together a few tips that you were looking for anyway:

Hair: I think the first thing people see is your hair. If you want to change your look your hairdresser will be more then happy but you don't need to. Just take care of your hair. (one thing I like to do is straighten or let my hair set in curls etc. before I go out with friends for the day. I think people notice when youve purposely done your hair and even if your wearing that boring singlet and shorts others can notice you take pride in how you look no matter what your wearing. The only dowwnside is that I regularly treat my hair and use the right products so that any styling I do to my hair doesn't damage it)

make-up: You want people to still think WOW when you get dressed up for special occasions. It makes a special night even more special so keep everyday makup minimal. All you really need is a good mascara, and if you want to use foundation, then ask a proffessional for a colour match (theyre in most department stores etc.). You can even have light bronzers and nude lipstick or gloss if you want, but keep things natural. People notice those who are comfortable in their own skin. Makeup is just a tool to improve on yourself.

Clothes: you don't need to totally overhaul ALL your clothes. Just subtly tweak it, like changing to bolder, brighter coloured tops and adding a cute accessory. Its much cheaper. Just don't over-do it and don't think that you'll get attention by revealing all. You cheapen your look. Be confident and don't care whether people like or hate what your wearing. That's how trends start.

Body: I think its good to have some kind of beauty regime (ie moisturizing/exfoliating/painting nails/gradual tanners etc.). You'll feel more feminine and pampered your going to feel better about yourself and it will show plenty of confidence.

Its also important to keep healthy and drink plenty of water.

I hope these help just a bit. Basically just keep things subtle, and stay true to yourself. people WILL notice which is the aim. Good luck.

I agree, if you FEEL hot, then you're going to BE hot. Youd be surprised what a new hair do, nail treatment, and a few new outfits will do to you. SOmetimes I youtube make up ideas and that gets me hyped to do new stuff.. Also, if you really want to get new clothes to add to this make over, you can always go to a store you like and tell them "I need a make over, help me pick out clothes" the girls will have a BALL with you! and theyre usually very helpful!. go ti a hair dresser and tell her you need a new look... she'll be happy to oblige and give you something edgy or sexy... if you ask her. Maybe google some nice hairstyles you like to give her some ideas...

then maybe go to a makeup store and get a free makeup session and buy some of the stuff they show you.

Just make sure you exercise and eat well so you feel good and look good!

Develop confidence!

And remember, you don't have to be hot, because that's mostly objectifying your body, but whatev!

I can only tell you what I think is hot and let you pick and choose from there.

Hair: that choppy scene haire always seems to attract attention. It tends to give the girl an edge look and makes her seem to be more fun to be around. Where as girls with well done up hair seem to look more high maintance.

Tops: Try something a little form fitting, but not revealing. For instance tank tops seem to work, or graphic T's that are a little tight. If you want to be daring grab an old shirt slice down the sides vertically, then horizontally about an inch wide and apart then tie them back together and cut the neck to a V. Show's creativeity wich is a major turn on.

Bottoms: I personally think Tripp shorts are sexy on a girl but if that's not the style you want to go for try something along the lines of worn jeans (hint you can buy cheap jeans and rub the fabric with sandpaper to create a worn look). Also skirts are always sexy just make sure they're not too short. Remember you want hot not slutty.

Shoes: Skate shoes are always good. They go with pretty much ever style. Als consider converse. AVOID crocks at all cost. Also avoid ugs unless you like looking like an escimo hooker. It's best to have shoes for every style because they can really pull an outfit together.

Accesorries: Studded bracelets are good. They give off an edgy look. Also bandana's tied around your wrist, necklace with a light charm like a locket or ying-yang.

Make up: Now this just my personal prefference but dark eyeliner will really bring out a woman's eyes especially if she has light eye color. Leave the lips neutral.

Again most of this is my preference on what I think is hot. Hope it helped

Tops:

1.Hollister tanktops- becouse their fit hugs you're body, comfortable, washer safe (doesnt loose shape) and comes in variety of colors.

2.get a little black dress and pair it up with something sparkly

3.neon zebra shirts are hot and total attention dragger

4.try shirts with V cut, not clevage just that edge.

Bottoms:

1.get some very comfortbale dark wash jeans

2.destroyed jeans really get long legs attention

3.sweat pants work tooo

4.sofe shorts - get some colors, it really brings up the mood in the day

Shoes:

1.some jordans paired up with skinny jeans or sweats - super comfortable, very sporty looking.

2.wedges will deffinetly give you some height and you'll feel a lot more comfortable

3.plain black flip flops go great with bright manicure

Bling:

1.pearls :)

2.anklet

3.bright rubber bracelets :)

Dye your hair the opposite color you have, (blonde-black)(black-blonde)(red-black)(red-blonde). Get a crazy hair cut. If you don't use make up, wear it everyday. Black eyeliner. If your clothes are too plain, wear sexy clothes. In my opinion girls look a lot better on skinny jeans and tight T-shirts. If you are a little over weight try changing you eating habits slowly.

But to be honest it's all about how you feel, if you feel happy it will show, and if you feel depresed it would also show. This are not just tips to change your physical appearance, but they may help change your self esteem.

Work out 3 times a week for 5 months, you see you be toned and catch many guys eyes. Wear short  shorts or tight jeans to show how tone you go and wear your hair down. Make up not alot, eye liner is okay if you can pull it off. If you have break outs use a natural organic cleaner so your skin is smooth. shop at stores like holister and w/e fits your budget but mix it up. by working out your gain the confidence to wear heels and show your gorgeous body and be breath taking ^.^

A hot girl by your standards or everyone else's? Because everyone has a different opinion of what "hot" is. You'll spend a lifetime trying to be hot in other peoples minds. So focus on what you feel is hot and what increases your self-esteem. This will make you more confident and much much more attractive.

A lot of it has to do with your confidence. If you feel good about yourself, it shows. Get yourself some hot bra and panties and when you wear it, you feel like you have your own naughty secret. :) that's one way for instant boost.

Also take care of yourself-workout normally , get a manicure or at least a pedicure.. Use a hair streghtner for shinier hair, etc..

Okay well I personally am very girly and don't leave the house with out make up or hair done so if you don't wear it try that but if that's not your thing than try to make sure hair is always done ..and show a little skin not slutty though just some legs or cleavage but just alwyas put yourslef out there and be chill with the guys they like it when they can talk to girls easily :)

i feel constantly in the same position. well just work out, exercise, lose the fat ifyou have fat and eat healthy. find trendy clothes, do your hair different and there you go. I also like going to get my make up done from time to time :)

This is an act! Get on Facebook and pick out your ugliest friend that's a girl- then go to her pictures and look for one she's dressed up in. I bet there is at least 2 girls saying how cute and pretty she is in that picture. FACT: Girls rate other girls subconsciously, and they love seeing when other girls get dressed up and looking like s**t because it just increases there ego and confidence.

You want to be HOT- easy get friends that are not as good looking as you (not ugly, about the same as you but defiantly uglier) and be super confident. Plain and Simple
