With the continuous attack on the male persona for the last years, it's no surprise the way men sit is now considered a problem, with some cities like Madrid (WTF Spain? -_- ) banning this way of sitting.
What is manspreading? It's when men sit with their legs slightly spread apart which causes them to occupy more space, just like when women put their handbags on the seat next to them, occupying more space.

So obviously women will never be able to fully understand why a man sits that way, but yet some feel like they're entitled to police the way we sit.
So my question to girls on GAG: would you manspread if you had a dick and balls? Obviously it's an assumption based on what you know about male genitalia, but putting yourself on our shoes, do you think you'd also sit down with your legs spread apart if you had the same organs men have between their legs?

Here's a video of an "experiment" where women were given a device that sort of simulated having male genitalia, and were told to sit down and see what's more comfortable for them.

To be honest I tend to sit like an inconsiderate douchebag already. I'm not very ladylike. I'll budge over if someone wants to sit there but it's actually more comfy for me as well to sit like that than crossing my legs all the time. Although at least crossing my legs won't hurt me.

Men are perfectly capable of sitting with their legs closed enough to keep in the confines of their own seat. In am empty place or train, manspread all you want, and I will put my stuff on the seat.

When the train gets crowded, make room for other people to sit down. The issue is about conscientiousness.

Maybe there aren't enough trains, and maybe the seats aren't wide enough - and if that is a case, it should be taken up with the entity that runs the trains.

But neither your dick and balls, nor the wide-setness of a woman's pelvis, make it ok to be rude and inconsiderate of other riders.

Sometimes you have to be mildly uncomfortable on public transportation to be a good citizen. Not in writhing pain, but just like "I'd like to stretch a little, but I can handle this for a little bit."

Most women and probably most men do this all the time to be friendly and helpful.

Also, it's not dick and balls that cause men to spread normally, they really aren't THAT big. It's pelvis shape. Look it up.

Don't really feel like watching the video. But I'm going to assume there are girls wearing artificial male genitals and they stated that they were more comfortable with "man-spreading" while wearing these artificial genitals. Unless it's completely exaggerated, I have no problem with it. Unless it's somewhere crowded, like on public transportation, take up as much space as you want. If you're somewhere crowded, you can be uncomfortable like the rest of us and try to take up less space. My mom got a new car that supposedly fits five adults. Both of my brothers take up so much space, that I have to cross my legs so tight that blood circulation to my lower extremities slows down. And then when I ask them to take up less space, they complain how uncomfortable it makes them. Never mind that my legs feel limp due to not enough blood.

I would manspread for the sake of comfort, but not to the point of being obnoxious or taking up someone else's space. In example, if I wanted to manspread on the subway I would do so with my legs opening more towards the aisle so I don't squish the person next to me. Well, here's the thing. I try my absolute best not to spread into other people's area on the bus, and that's all that really matters. We all gotta make the best of those tiny seats.
