Is it me or are guys just easy to please/impress?

I'm 23 years old now and I've been dating since I was 14. I didn't have my first serious relationship til I was about 18 though.

One thing that I've noticed is that guys are always interested in me. Since I've started being serious about dating after age 17, the guys that I've been interested have always been interested in me as well. I'm not exaggerating either... In casual dating, I've always been the one to tell the guy that I'm not so interested in him and stop dating, never the other way around. And in my relationships I've only been broken up with once, ever. I was 17 at the time and my boyfriend broke up with me after he got what he wanted (sex).

And it's not because of my looks. I'm fairly cute, but I'm not gorgeous or anything. And it's not like guys start fawning over me as soon as they see me, it's always after they get to know me a little. Usually the more they know, the harder they fall.

So I'm wondering... are guys like this with every girl, or is there really something special about me?

Guys: do you hardly ever turn girls down or are you fairly picky?

Girls: what have your experiences been like, do guys seldom refuse you?

Hum, I have been broken up with once, and split up with a guy once, so id say I'm pretty even ;P, however I have had the issue you have, which is guys just seem to like me.. not in a big headed way ... but they generally do once they get to know me, which is a bit weird haha. And all the guys I liked seem to like me, even if they are already dating which is a bit stressful even then its not that I'm complaining a lot of the time... I'm defs not super attractive, though I've been told I'm hot, def not sure I believe that haha.

However my ex boyfriend broke up with me cause he still liked his ex, and there was issues there so I cannot be totally like I have never been broken up with before... lol xXx

Guys have been interested in me but I think that's because I'm not the typical girl. I talk cars, motorcycles, and I love firefighting. My friends always "got" the guys, where I was always the "friend". I've been rejected, and told why...Too tall, too strong, can't handle that I'm a firefighter, too responsible...etc. I guess I could've had my pick of guys that liked me, but they didn't have the qualities I liked. Like no acoholics or druggies! Everyone is different, and they have their preferences. Just casually date, be honest and the men in your life won't get hurt. Hoensty never hurts anyone that bad as long as you don't wait too long to tell the truth. You're young, enjoy life!

did you like bad guys when you were younger? you mentioned they would reject you because your too responsible (good girl) type stuff. its been said that oppisites attract. whether they do or not I dk but did you like bad guys when you were young? I think guys just want a girl who is fairly pretty like you, and also puts out (sex). That's what most of the guys I've ever been dating has done. I've never really been rejected either. Most of the time I reject the guy without having sex with them but they are begging for it. It's like they want it like candy. I think... but my guy now had sex with a girl just because she was fairly pretty (not gorgeous or anything) and she put out. He is in a relationship with me for the same reason, because I offered sex and am fairly pretty.

That's all guys want. Is any girl who is fairly pretty and will offer sex. That's how it's always been with me.

I am the same like you. Guys have always been interested in me and I've always been the one to turn them down or stop dating. But I know girls who always get rejected or the guys break up with them. I guess it's better to be in a postion to deicde and choose but not always. Sometimes guys just can't handle the idea of being rejected and get quite jealous and possessive. I have dated guys who wouldn't let me out of the relationship and cause me problems. so sometimes being wanted can turn into a nightmare.

its wrong to keep a relationship going if its not truly meant to be (cliche, I know). guys who can't leave you are either in denial or just don't want someone elses sex. ha! the sex is what usually keeps us around even if we know the relationship isn't working out. I think women know this too many of whom give in. hopefully you dont!

Just the way it is... Every guy wants a nice piece of eye candy, but we also want someone with depth, that is down-to-earth, smart, and classy. If you're the whole package, then simply put, a lot of guys will want to be with you. Guys are easier to please in that respect, yes. We know exactly what we want. We want a nice, pretty girl with class, that we have a bit in common with, and who doesn't have an over-inflated ego (most seem to be full of themselves, unfortunately, so keep that in mind...).

Girls? Well, you're all just impossible to please... lol! ;)

actually girls are fairly simple to please. the only reason why we think they are is because they make us think it is as to make it a challenge (just when you think youve figured them out, they throw you a new one)

guys are just as hard to please as girls. difference is guys will be happy to take some sex while looking for that perfect girl, girls usually don't.

but then again maybe you really are that awesome. I know a few girls who just frankly have game, they aren't drop dead gorgeous but are so good at connecting with people, so good at flirting, so much fun, it is super easy for them to date. you could be one of those, in which case, stop worrying and enjoy it!

It's just simply the way it is. When in a relationship, there's always two sides to the deal. The guy may be crazy about the girl and like her qualities while on the other hand, the girl isn't that head-over-heels about the guy. It just happened to you more often than usual, I guess.

I've yet to be in a "serious" relationship myself. I've dated plenty of girls and usually give them a chance at one or two dates even if there's not much initial interest. It's all good in the end though; we're all looking for that one person that turns our world upside down.

I'm a bit picky and have turned women down. Wow, talk about bitter b*tches who will start calling you names, and trying to get back at you. "How dare you say no to me" attitude.

Guys tend not to do the breaking up because women don't handle rejection that easily. My last ex I gave her reasons to break up with me for this simple fact.

Interesting. I'll have to say that most guys don't handle rejection that well either... At least in my experience. I'd rather have a guy break up with me if he wasn't happy than try to get me to do it. I hate breaking up with people :(

actually I'm more likely to get upset at a rejection than a break up. why? who knows really my only guess is because if you break up, then that's life. you aren't compatible so you move on. while on the other hand getting rejected hurts because your confidence goes down after it :(

well obviously it's easier for a girl to get a boyfriend than it is for a guy to get a girlfriend because all you girls have to do is welcome or deny advances, we guys have to initiate everything, and plus for the most part women have this fairy tale fantasy that a man will come along, sweep her off her feet and take all of life's problems away. When that doesn't happen the relationship will turn sour quickly.

Men are just happy to be getting some action.

It's not as easy as you might think... Worrying about whether or not the guy will actually ask you out, trying to make sure you're sending out the right signals, and some girls DO make the first move. I've done it a couple of times... I also don't expect a guy to take life's problems away, I just expect that he'll be there to hold my hand through those problems. :)

girls don't think your gonna fix their problems they just want to know theyll be their for her no matter what happens. like a good friend basically (just with boobs, ha!)

and in my opinion I think girls have it harder in terms of what they have to do. yes it can be tough for us but think about what they go through JUST so they get asked out, not to mention, having babies :P

I Personally have never been in a relationship because I always get rejected by the guy I'm interested in.

However one or two of my close friends never are rejected by a guy..they always have someone interested and usually they find it hard to hurt he boys as often asthey have to. They know they are blessed thought to have so many guys. :)

haha yeah...I think it's because of where I go to high school...only 1500 kids and most of them are girls. :)

Im a guy and I have yet to meet any woman worth pursuing or that meets my standards. Granted I don't get out much and when I do its just for work or the gym or shooting or volunteer stuff. I keep to myself and even though I'm successful and roughly good looking I will undoubtedly end up alone. Some women hit on me and sometimes gay men.

It is what it is, some people just aren't social and don't want to be around others except on their terms.
