Girls what does it truly mean when a girl says your cute?

this girl called me cute like 3 times..but I never made a move so I don't know if I lost out on her or not..so girls when a girl calls a guy cute what does it mean like does she like you or she just being nice what? by the way I havnt seen her in 5 months so meh

It depends, essentially there are 2 meanings to cute:

1) You are cute like a teddy bear and they just like you in a non-romantic way- my best mate is cute in that sense of the word but its quite easy to tell if the girl who called you cute meant it in that way. If every other girl says your cute as well then that is probably what they mean- if they don't then she most likely means the second meaning

2) You are cute in an attractive way and she is probably interested in you romantically as well as wouldn't mind dating you or something like that :D :)

well she got all giggily(if that's even a word lol) around me. but sadly I lost my chance even if I had one I'm kicking my self now because she's with a jerk I know I could have treated her better:/

I personally wouldn't say that someone was cute unless they

A) were a small child

B) were a woman who was wearing some clothes/makeup/hairstyle I thought made them look great

C) were a guy that I found attractive

I have a friend who calls almost every guy "adorable", which to me is pretty much the same as cute as far as the meaning of the word goes. I'd say it doesn't mean anything when she says it, but then again on the other hand, like I said I know her and she has the tendency to be extremely easy. So maybe she just finds lots of guys including myself attractive lol, I don't know...
