If a pretty French girl doesn't speak English well AT ALL but KIND OF understand what you're saying, can you fall in love with her?

For example, she speaks French fluently and your French is not bad but you're MUCH more comfortable in English.

So you guys speak in French but still, can you fall for her?

I can't really say that "most of" but very significant part of communication is non-verbal.

So sure, it's possible, you can tell whether or not there's attraction/chemistry without any of you actually mentioning anything about it... and it basically always goes that way anyway.

The usage of words and language are about trivial things.

Of course, it is challenging, and you'll have to "scrap" whatever you can to widen the "common understanding zone" but it's not something that cannot be done successfully.

If she can understand me well enough and I can understand her. I can try learning her language (but I suck at that, I'd still try) or if she's learning English I can help her with that too. If she's still a fun person to talk to that's got a cute personality and positive about life and such I'll probably find her appealing and still try and might be love (it's hard to really say if I can love a certain archetype of a girl considering I don't, it just depends at that moment when I know em personally :P).

i'm not sure... I'm a really verbal person. I think I'd be frustrated if he couldn't understand what I was saying and vice-versa. guess it depends.

Ofcourse we can and I can obviously. I've had relationships since I was a teen with women from countries where we hardly could speak the same language. I speak English while they would be German or Italian but sure it can happen and it works out well too and in the bargain both of us wind up learning the others' language or at least one way :D

No. I don't see with any possibility that you can have a successful relationship if neither of you can communicate or fully understand one another. Disney must have smacked the guys on the head that answered thus far.
