He doesn't want to jump into a relationship. Is my choice reasonable?

I like this guy. He likes me back as well.

But, because of his past experience, he doesn't want to jump into a relationship. And I respect his decision so I'm not forcing him to get into a r'ship with me. I'm willing to wait for him but he says it's unfair as he's not sure if in the future he wants to be in a relationship. He says that he might want to or might not want to. and if he might not, then I would be more hurt because all those years of waiting would be for nothing. He says it would be unfair for him to make me wait for him while he decides on it. We still message each other as before but he doesn't want my feelings for him to develop stronger.

Is what I'm doing right?

well, its not his choice, if you wait or not. its yours. him thinking he has more say in it then you do, makes me doubt he'd be a good boyfriend , for you he's already being disrespectful.

if you don't care about being in a relationship,atm, then its no big deal anyways.

i wouldn't push someone else you like away, just for tis guy. tho. not because of any 'wisdom', in what he said, but because he's obnoxious enough to say it.

people do siometimes not want a relationship. not because you're a lat resort, or because he doesn't trust you. but still I don't like how he thinks he can make your decision or u. you're responsible for yourself.

If he was crazy about you he would not make excuses. Sorry, but this guy thinks of you as a last resort. If he can't find anyone he'd rather be with, then maybe he'll give you a shot some time is basically what he's saying.



I would only act this way if she gave me a reason to be weary of her, she gave me a reason not to trust her or I was not really into her.

Never wait for anyone, ever! Unless it can't be helped like in the army, touring with the circus etc.

anything other than seeming like shed cheat, or use you for money. ?(those two are mentioned a lot on here, so I thought id get it out of the way)

If she were to play little games, mess with my emotions. Show interest one day, ignore the next, trying to get me jealous. I've had to walk away because of all these.
