Guys, did you switch from briefs to boxers during puberty?

I've learned that most boys switch from briefs to boxers when they go to middle or high school. Did you switch to boxers during puberty? How old were you?

Well, like others said erections could be painful in tight briefs that can’t contain it. So I started puberty at 8. I actually stopped wearing underwear at 9 nearly 10. Going commando was so much better, when I got an erection it just wet down my pants leg. I tried boxers once when I was 12, but it seemed like a waste of money to buy them given that going commando was still better.

Yes I did. It was much better since if an uncontrolled or uncalled erection started to happen then briefs couldn't contain *it*. Plus it felt uncomfortable. I guess I was 14-15 years when I changed my preference.

I did, I was probably 14 in middle school. Like most at that age you want to fit in and especially during gym class when you strip down and change you want to be wearing “acceptable” underwear that fashionable. But when I switched I quickly realized my balls were out and about just hanging down and just sticking there. Still I put up with it till my early 20s. Then I started to go back to briefs, but mainly when my balls need to be some where. I’ve tried boxer briefs as well, not much a fan unless you get the expensive ones that’s stretchy like spandex for that minor support. And one thing I forgot is that boxers have that fly that can easily be propped open for moving. I then stumbled on to knit boxers that have a locked door with a bottom, which is great just for chilling.

Nah, never fully switched to boxers. They're stupid in my opinion. They offer no support for the boys, they stay bunched up, and are hot and sweaty. Just imagine wearing shorts all day under your pants, especially when its hot. Commando, briefs are thongs are my underwear of choice.

Yes I did it was more with the going with the flow older boys made fun of younger boys at PE for tighty whites then it was more comfortable but showed your boner more. I was a nudist at home so it did not bother me much.

I wear boxer briefs pretty much all the time. I do own nice silk boxers, but they are uncomfortable to wear unless I'm about to take a girl on a one-way trip to Boner City. Otherwise I wear boxer briefs 95% of the time.

No, I have been wearing boxers for aslong as I can remember, switched some time before pubert æ. Don't remember a whole lot of small things like this from before puberty

I like boxer briefs and boxers and no I did not. I actually prefer box briefs because they do not have the hole like boxers.

I have not wore underwear around the home in 33 years but do when I work in a factory

Never have. I was in sports so always wore briefs or a strap. I have never worn boxers and never will.

No, I still wear briefs as I feel more comfortable wearing them.
