Why do other girls stare at me?

At school I quite often get stared at by other girls.. like when I am working every time I look up there's a girl staring at me.. Normally there above average in looking like... not drop dead but pretty and I get told I'm really pretty and that a lot of girls are very jealous of me... but I'm confused ...

When I look at the girls who are watching me I get creeped out and I'll give them a weird look or I'll just try to ignore them but they keep staring at me even after they notice that I know they're looking at me... like why do girls stare at me its like they can't take their eyes off of me... guys say I'm pretty behind my back A LOT but I'm always single because I never get asked out.. I always ask people out and they always think I'm joking but once I prove I'm not then they go out with me but the relationships never last because they always act like they're jealous of me and they dump me and then "they" end up with someone not so good looking ... please help me... and by the way I am still single because I'm tired of having to ask guys out.. and I don't see how I am as pretty as people say... maybe its just low self esteem... but they always tell me I look like Taylor swift but a hint of Rhianna.

thanks everyone :) lol yeah I am definitely not stuck up and I get called pretty so many times I can't call myself ugly anymore.. even though I think I am I don't really truly feel that way... but yeah I'm okay with being single.. might be more fun :)

Other girls are staring at you because they have heard guys talking about your looks. Naturally they are curious and probably a tad jealous so they will stare to see just what guys find so attractive about you. And sometimes it's not necessarily bad, I know I look at other pretty girls sometimes to get fashion ideas and imitate their style (cos honestly we all do want to look better :) ) , so they could also be doing that. On the minus side, considering your bad luck with dating in the past :( you may also be labelled as 'stuck-up' cos that stereotype tends to stick with pretty single girls.

they are probably studying you either because they're jealous or to see what all the other guys see with you. if other girls are jealous of you then that's obviously a good thing. girls wouldn't be jealous of an ugly girl. you're prettier than you think.
