What does it mean to a guy if he spoons you?

I spooned with a guy who I've known for a long time, it was out of the blue nothing's happened before, he was holding my waist and stroking my face and holding my hand and stuff, but he has a girlfriend, what does this mean, does he like me? Do guys spoon with girls because they like them and what does it mean to them, I'm not sure if anyone will see this but this has been confusing me for a while and I want to know whether things are still the same or if there going to change?

He may like you, or just want to comfort you. I know one of my best guy mates will cuddle me if I'm having a bad day etc. If he has a girlfriend it's slightly inappropriate on his end because I don't think his girlfriend would appreciate him spooning someone else. However he may just want to test his feelings to see if he does indeed have feelings for you! xx

If I was spooning with a girl and doing the things listed, I would be very into them. Surely you must have had some idea to have ended up spooning in the first place
