What does it mean when a guy just wants to cuddle when he's drunk?

Basically, my best friend and I had a fling this summer. Things didn't work out and we completely lost contact for about 2 months. Last weekend he texted me and apologized for everything that happened and said he hoped we could be friends again bc he missed me. Immediately after, he started talking about hanging out again. I went to a small party with him Friday which involved alcohol and we were both pretty drunk. I didn't really know anyone else there so I stayed with him most of the time. He asked me to sleep with him so I did. I stayed on the far side of the bed when I first laid down and he reached over and pulled me to him and asked if that was okay. It went on like that all night. Every time I switched sleeping positions, he would cuddle up to me. We spooned for a pretty long time. He never got handsy at all or even tried to kiss me. He woke me up when he was leaving and later the next day asked me to hang out again but we never brought up the night before. Do you think he still has feelings for me?

He not only has feelings for you, but they are very strong. The reason he didn't make a move on you is because what he misses is the intimacy. You offer him something a lot more than sex and he does not know of any other way to fill the void you left.

I'm going to assume that you broke up with him. Whether or not he's too proud or scared to admit it: he wants you back. If you do not share his feelings you have to tell him directly that you and he are no longer an option. As it stands, he is not moving on -- probably because he's holding on to some notion that you guys can just get back together. If you don't want him back, tell him. It's not fair to him otherwise.
