Do guys read into things?

I'm mean I'm sure it depends on personality... but, if a girl is texting you... can you tell if she is texting you differently? I was texting a guy last night (I tend to over analyze EVERYTHING) I try not to. But, can guys pick up on that over texts.

Yes, instantly. I read everyone, though. It's so fucking easy. Strangely, it's even easier by text. People have time to edit texts, to vet them and think about how they will respond. A lot of people assume it's easier face-to-face because of this, and they couldn't be more wrong. By analysing the contents and wording of a message one can determine the intention behind it.

Some do yes. Depends on the guy and how obvious you display it. Some will others won't.

In simple terms think as if there is just one sex. For each person out there, there is probably someone with a very similar mind. Does that make sense?

Really depends on how far the awkward gotten, but for the most part you can recover and pretend like nothing ever happened

We were talking about sports... and I was told him I play a lot of sports in school... but, I just wasn't good at them... I felt like it might have for awkward... he said that was fine. But, I don't know.

Okay. I guess... I'm freaking out. Because I've never really talked to a guy... and I normally don't tell my family anything... but, I told them about this guy I was talking to... they've been freaking out...(the guy asked me out) they are telling me they are coming on the date with me... they are telling me what to say to this guy... they when I tell them what I said... their response is "oh, you told him that?" They they go to say "oh that's fine honey" "he needs to like you for you" or "oh say this!" "Oh don't say that" the list goes on. I was talking to him fine... before I told them about. Sorry, for the rant.

Just keep the conversation going with him and find what you two really have in common; I know that's easier said than done, but just keep it fresh and interesting

A way to recover? What do you mean? Do you mean if we can pick up what you mean? Not really, unless it's quite obvious. Remember, texting is completely different than face to face communication.
