Guy gave me a ring, what finger do I wear it on?

I've been dating this guy for about a month. we see each once to twice a week. so it's serious, but not that serious. and we are exclusively seeing only each other.

Recently he went away on a trip and when he came back, he gave me a ring. Nothing fancy, just a cute little ring.

I might be over analyzing this, but what finger do I wear it on?

Well that depends what he is saying with the ring.. if its a ring with a promise like "I promise to be with you and only you but this is not a sign of I'm going to marry you" then I would wear it on my right hand ring finger. But if it's saying something a little stronger like "I love you and someday when the time is right I want to ask you to be my wife..." then I would wear it on my left hand ring finger because it sends a stronger message of this is something really special and all I want is you... But from the sounds of things its not that serious yet so I am thinking right hand ring finger would be the way to go.

I just go with whatever finger they put it on. me and my boyfriend are serious, but we've never talked about marraige or anything, but I wear his ring on my left hand ring finger. I don't think of it as the "marraige finger," I think of it as the "love finger" and I love him(:

Well not the left ring finger... that would scare him. I wear mine on my right ring finger. But if you prefer to wear it on your left, wear it on the middle finger. I don't think the hand really matters.

So the answer to your question? ANY finger BUT the left ring finger.
