How do I tell if my best guy friend likes me?

My best friend and me are pretty close, but lately I've been seeing him a little different. I really like him, and I THINK he likes me too, but how can I be sure?

-he walks me home everyday (he lives next door). and even though he Doesn't like her, he goes with me to pick up my little sister from her school.

-he holds on to me and grazes my hand

-he compliments me all the time and says things like "i can't believe how gourgous you are"

-he always tries to make me feel better

but...

-he just got out of a messy relationship

-he says he's not into anyone at our school

-he says he's looking for a girlfriend, but I don't know if he's reffering to me...?

-i don't know if he could think of me like that

WOW I'm going through the exact same situation! I've started liking my best friend (who is a guy) and he even asked me to prom but says he's just not sure right now if we can be more than friends but he shows all the signs. Right now what I'm doing is giving him his space. but perhaps you should inform your friend of your feelings if he doesn't already know. I did and it got my best friend thinking about the possibility of use being together now I'm just waiting for him to decide. it sounds like though that you're someone extremely special to him so it can always go south with these type of situations. he could not want to jeopardize your friendship. but the best advice I can give you is to be patient because rushing a guy never works out.

my other guy friends that know about my situation suggested I leave him alone for a while and just take a break from him that way he can grow to miss me and figure out his feelings. maybe you could try that.

#5. Obviously he didn't tell you who he likes or who he wants to be in a relationship with, maybe he just wants to keep this a secret and see if you like him the same way. he doesn't want to ruin a friend ship like this. so he's keeping this secretive.

Well I tried telling him about it today when he walked me home but I got mildly nervous and the subject turned to something I never expected. Long story short, he asked me if I wanted to become one of those people that, you know, use each other for sex. and I couldn't speak up and say that's not all I wanted, that I want a relationship. what do I do now?

You should have heard the gasp I just did! ohmygosh! dont! please don't! that will ruin you! that's happened before, long story short, I liked him too much for me to say no s I gave in... WORST THING IVE EVER DID! Thank god I'm still a virgin but he tried doing sexual things with me, and then went out with someone cause we weren't in a " relationship ". It broke my heart. Tell him straight up... No, I don't want that... I kind of like you, and I want to be in a relationship with you.. b straight up
