Do guys miss their girlfriends as much as their girlfriends miss them?

i miss my boyfriend a lot and its like all the time.we talk everyday all day .So it gets on my nerves that he acts as if he can't fit me in his schedule to make a face to face meeting.i don't think its not that he's not interest because he calls me all day long and we have small conversations all through the day and we usually end with like a 3-5 hour phone call or constant instant messaging.do I miss him more than he misses me?we've been going out for a month and 2 weeks (even when we were just flirting he would call me everyday and we'd instant message for hours every day)we only had 2 face to face encounters the whole time we've knew each other.so do I miss him too much?or he doesn't miss me enough?

ps.he says he misses me all the time .but won't fit me into his schedule!

i broke up with him a long time ago (like at least a year) ,a few months ago we spoke for the first time and he told me he was sorry and he just didn't know what he wanted

i would have remained friends with him but he had some dramatic theory about making it up to me and winning "the best girlfriend he ever had back" and not to mention I still look back at our relationship as wasted time so there would be resentment

Maybe I'm old or something, but how can you call him your boyfriend if you've only seen him twice?

I realize with technology, you can practically have a relationship without meeting - but why would you want to?

I think if the majority of your communication is done over electronic, then there really isn't much for him to miss. THIS is what your relationship is - texting, phone conversations, and IMing. What is there to miss if you do it everyday? Maybe it's just because I'm effing old or something - but if you are already labeling your electronic communication as an exclusive relationship - why does he have to do anything else, like meet up with you?

Please let me know if I am wrong - I could just be being old fashioned. If you can have a viable, healthy relationship communicating mostly with electronics, please let me know.

I think you are correct Simple-Simonette but I am biased because most of your answers I agree with completely lol without being able to see each other and meet face to face what you have is a pen pal (another old thing) lol so quickly my dear save your relationship and make plans so you both can meet and talk and do something together

well...for one I do miss my girlfriend a lot, I guess it depends on whether I've got the right sort of feeling for her. love or lust sort of thing...its not possible to really deduce how much he misses you, or how much he misses you relative to how much you miss him but its a little strange that you have only met face to face 2 times. nothing feels like meeting face to face when you're in love.
