Why are feminists so often hypocritical?

Anonymous
let me start by saying that I'm all for equality. I think women and men should have equal rights across the board. I believe women are entirely capable of performing almost any job that a man can. I think everyone should be paid equally commensurate to performance and experience. I just want to get that out of the way so no one thinks I'm anti-woman.

what does aggravate me though, is what I call "convenient feminism."

you can't have it both ways. I'm all for treating a woman like a lady and any woman I know would tell you that I am a gentleman. But a lot of these so-called feminists want all of the benefits and none of the drawbacks. They want equal rights and equal pay, which as I said I have no problem with. But the flipside is that you can't go around expecting to be waited on hand and foot. it's cool if you don't think a woman should be expected to cook and clean. but why do the same people expect that a man should be doing all of the traditionally male chores? if you're equal, then why can't you mow the lawn, take out the garbage, or paint the house? it's not that you're incapable, it's that you just don't want to and it's too comfortable to give up. Hypocrisy at its finest.

I imagine that this will probably ruffle some feathers, but this is a serious question. I'm not looking to be shouted down about this, I'm looking for insight. it's okay if you think that I am wrong, but please tell me why I am wrong, don't just yell at me lol.
