What are some cures for sore muscles?

Recently cheer camp has been leaving quite a toll on me and my shoulder and thigh muscles have been killing me what can i do to make the soreness go away?

I find after an intense workout delayed onset muscle syndrome kicks in for me a day or two later. I was looking up ways to make muscle soreness go away over the internet and I found something that helped me out a lot. When you take showers... simply make the water really hot and press hard with a wash cloth on the sore spots. It works really good for me.

I always welcome muscle soreness because it indicates to me that i did a good job in my workout. You can alleviate the pain by stretching after your workout or while it is sore. You could also take a warm shower or bath, massage the area, eat protein, drink plenty of water. Hope this helps!

Light exercise like a walk to help remove lactic acid, eat well, sleep 8 hrs. Meds like ibuprofen 400 mg every 6-8 hrs might help.

But i just conditioned my muscles they hurt i could barely walk back to my house after cheer practice and still feel like shit lol

You really want to know lol i picked cheerleading because it a good way to train your voice and muscles while looking cute ;D its also really fun you make friends within the squad very easily everyone is nice and it has a nice vibe to it, you can also check out the girls while while excising and the basketball and football players

hahaha yes I do. that's nice, I'm glad you're doing something you love. I think beach volleyball its so fun to play, especially when you're deflecting the serve and making sure the ball doesn't hit the ground while setting up team mates.

I never tired being a libero in volley i always have been the ace but yeah beach volleyball is cool too i just dont play it as much

haha thank you. yes it's like you and your cheerleading team. its more than just an activity, its a friendship, a combined effort, a brotherhood (sisterhood in your case). you guys look out for eachother, make sure everyone is happy and giving all they can.
