Why do a lot of fitness people like small, girly meals?

A good meal, main meal of the day, at least for me:
1.5lbs of fried (not deep fried) or baked potatoes
1lb of chicken breast in some nice sauce
2lbs of various vegetables.

I really like this. Of course there are a lot of different big meals to eat, this is just an example of the size.
Why do a lot of fitness people like small, girly meals?
